I think the van belongs to Lindsey, it was on her myspace page. I think when Chelsea was talking about "she" called me crying...the she is Lindsey not Misty. Chelsea does not say Misty..the reporter does and we all know how bad they have messed up in this case.

Tommy and Lindsey live near Ron and Misty. It was and always have been Lindsey's van that was impounded. I was getting Timmy confused with Tommy. And the cousin in question was staying with Tommy and Lindsey.

Boy, that reporter butchered that story big time. The van was probably never returned to Chelsea, but returned to Lindsey. And Chelsea was talking about Lindsey not Misty.

Please tell me I've got this right now! lol.

So who saw the van parked crooked?

Seriously why does the media feel the need to write in code. It doesn't make the sentence sound any more interesting. Why not just come out and say where the van is and where the owner is.....and who it belongs to now. This isn't a mystery novel that needs massive adjectives to keep the reader turning the page this is about a missing child!

Misty Croslins FORMER home ....so do they mean Chelsea's house or Ronalds....because both places are former home's right? Am I missing something here?

Lindsy and husband Tommy DO live around the corner from Ron's home. They live on Tyler.

Lindsy posted a photo on her myspace in 2006 of the bluish grey minivan saying "this is what I'm driving".

I would respectfully suggest that if you still believe that Chelsea owns the van and NOT Lindsy, that you watch the video of the interview again and note what the reporter says, what Chelsea says and how it is edited.

Remember, Chelsea and Lindsy are very close and Lindsy may have allowed Chelsea to use the van often. And, in fact, Lindsy asking Chelsea if she put the scratch in "my" van, confirms the fact that Chelsea DROVE the van, but does not own it - Lindsy does.

Misty owning the van does not fit. She doesn't have 2 pennies to rub together.

LINDSY OWNS THE VAN. I will put money on it.

Exactly what I said earlier, the van is more than likely a shared resuorce that Chelsea technically owns but shares with Lindsy.

Thank you for your post. Your earlier posts are what made me go back over and over that video. It makes so much more sense with Lindsey owning the van and Chelsea borrowing it, and then Lindsey calling and talking to Chelsea about the scratches and what could have happened to Haleigh.
It could have been that conversation that led to LE taking the van.

But it truly does indicate terrible editing because the interview definitely plays/flows as "her" being Misty.

The relative that was staying with them is Donald Lee S. and he is a reg. sex offender. I would bet he knows where Haleigh is...

This is what's so confusing,Lindsy had that on her ms,but Chelsea has it at her house and Misty says it's her van.I wonder if Misty was letting both SIL's use it at different times.

Sorry, but I'm still not getting this. If you look at the article posted on page #1 of this thread, there is no mention of Lindsey at all. The only names listed in the article are Chealsy and Misty?

IIRC, JO was staying with Tommy and Lindsey who lives by Ron and Misty. The van belongs to Lindsey and Chelsea was using it. Which is what we all thought from the beginning, but it appears the reporter botched all the details.
