Bobby Panknin
Lost/Injured Missing from Stevens County, Washington since August 3, 1963
Age: 4 -- Height: 2'8" -- Weight: 30 lbs -- Hair Color: Blonde
Bobby was last seen wearing a swim suit and no shoes. He is allergic to chocolate. He is susceptible to severe ear and bronchial infections. When he disappeared, he had difficulty pronouncing "R" and "C" sounds.
Bobby was last seen camping with his parents and three older brothers at the Deep Lake Resort in Stevens County, Washington, about 20 miles from the Canadian border. Bobby was hiking with his mother and 2 brothers on an isolated logging trail. One of the boys left the trail to look at a small creek, telling the other child to stay with Bobby, but the other followed his mother and brother to the creek, leaving Bobby alone. They didn't walk more than 100-150 feet and were gone only a few minutes, but when they returned to the trail, Bobby was gone. An extensive search involving bloodhounds and 4,000 volunteers turned up no indication of his whereabouts. Dogs traced his scent for a few miles, but then lost it. Bobby has never been found.
