Blue ratchet straps on the outside of the fridge were also found in the home Blevins and Hughes shared, the report said. Police also found a firearm and a calendar marked with "Xs" on each date leading up to July 24, 2024, according to the report.
Blevins had been seen twice driving a pickup truck with a fridge in its bed in Long Beach Township and Sea Isle City, per the report.

If her birthday is in September, is her pendant consistent with libra or virgo? I can’t see either one in it, but I’m not great with visual-spatial matters.
I'm September/Virgo... I think Libra is a dude with a spear, Virgo is... Umm... Zeus or something.

What was not mentioned during the detention hearing was that Tyrrell called police the day after he first discovered the refrigerator.

Tyrrell told police that he first opened the refrigerator Dec. 21, and took possession of some things inside, according to the affidavit of probable cause obtained by BreakingAC.

I didn't think the man was involved in this, but the news that he was at the refrigerator and taking items before finally calling it in gives me some doubt.
IMO:
Never a good sign no matter how old.

"Shim argued for Tyrrell to be held in jail during a detention hearing Monday, noting he is a registered Megan’s Law offender.

That charge is 22 years old, with no violations since, Tumelty argued. He also noted that his client is properly registered.'

Both tattoos have what appears to be fish tails.
If she was going astrological with her tattoos I would say it's the sign of Pisces.

Waiting for a tattoo artist to come forward.
Original designs or chosen from a book?
IIRC:
There was no success in finding the tattoo artists who did the "peaches" and "cherry" tattoos found on LISK victims.

The NJ Courts website shows that Christopher Blevins, Hughes' boyfriend, has been charged with desecration of human remains in July 2024. Alston, however, says the last time that he saw Hughes was in August 2024 for a child support hearing in Camden County court.
[snip]
Alston says he has been provided with little information from authorities, adding to the pain for him and his daughters, J[redacted], 18, and I[redacted], 13.

This is confusing as hell.
  • Victim's boyfriend arrested in August 27th, 2024
    • Crime believed to have occurred in July 2024
    • Victim's children's father says he saw her as recently as August 2024
    • Refrigerator believed to have been dumped July 24th, 2024
    • Body is discovered in December 2024
    • And let's not forget the hiker who took something from the refrigerator and then returned the next day to report a discovered body

What's going on?

Perhaps he actually last saw her in July and is just mistaken?

This is a difficult case to make sense of, though.

That's what I thought, that he could have misremembered the day. It happens. I wouldn't take dates from memory as concrete.

"The NJ Courts website shows that Christopher Blevins, Hughes' boyfriend, has been charged with desecration of human remains in July 2024. Alston, however, says the last time that he saw Hughes was in August 2024 for a child support hearing in Camden County court."

My first thought was that this means that the Blevins committed a crime in or before July 2024. Having information about that crime or finding out about that crime could have been (part of) the motive for Blevins to kill Laura. So I think these are different charges about a different thing. What it would tell us is that it was not Blevins first rodeo. Makes sense with "Blevins surrendered to authorities in Mexico on Aug. 27 — which would have been three days since Alston had last seen Hughes".

But then I read "The NJ Advance Media report, citing an affidavit for probable cause, also says that Blevins is believed to have transported a refrigerator to the Belleplain State Forest around July 24, the date on which Blevins' desecration charge is filed on."

So did he first use the fridge for one body, got caught, then killed his gf and used the same 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 method that he had already been caught with??

Or is the ex lying about Laura attending a court hearing? Why on earth would he do that? It does not sould like that at all.

An of course we have that line:
"But things were difficult with her boyfriend. She was unhappy and planning to leave him. It was like she was his mom—he struggled with drugs and alcohol."

(Lightbulb above head) Now that would make the timeline make sense... a second body. Wonder who that was?

Nah, lying about the court hearing wouldn't make any sense... For one thing, it wouldn't be hard to verify that it happened.

Authorities have closely monitored the input as they turn to the public for help.

'I do know that everything on Facebook and all the comments that have been made – those all have been watched,' a spokesperson for the investigation told DailyMail.com.

'We've been taking action on everything we have seen that is providing any kind of good investigative leads like tattoo parlors.'
