Aegon.... I cannot get in. At first, I thought it was because i was in an incognito window... but I just keep getting a subscription required.... So still hoping you will add some detail....
thanks.

No one can copy that information here of course because it's a paywalled article. But ALWAYS archive links via an archive site, it's super easy, just copy the link address you want and copy it into one of the sites like the one I've used above. Also means we won't ever be arguing about "I swear an article said this". The internet's forever right?

Probably not relevant but I think the star on the necklace is a Seastar. Kinda goes with the aquatic themed tattoo
That makes sense to me because the necklace reminds me of a sand dollar pendant. I know it’s a stretch, but also an aquatic theme.

Thanks for the tip. I actually was expecting that post to be removed (I'm surprised it's still there), but it was a quick way to get the article up before starting work. I figured it would be seen by some people, at least.

Well that is bizarre! He hiked to the fridge and took stuff out of it and then he returns the next day and finds a body in it?

WTH could be in a fridge in the middle of the forest that someone would want to take? If he was hiking to it, then it seems he knew it was there and knew something was in it? Was this something drug related? Seems odd, but maybe?

So if he claims that day 1 no body and day 2 there was a body, then this person may have just been killed and placed there, which could be good news for possible DNA of her killer still being recoverable.

I can totally see why LE wanted this guys prints and to look at his phone with this story.
Ok, yeah, that's pretty messed up. I figured there had to have been another reason they wanted his phone, unless the cops were completely incompetent.

If it's an old fridge I'd be pretty curious. There could be antiques in there, like Billy Beer. I wouldn't be curious enough to open it twice, though.

I wonder if his story about having been IN the fridge the day before is just him trying to explain his prints on the fridge.....

what r the chances ???? the very next day tada, there is a body inside.

Note the differences of a sea star being more rounded whereas a star has sharp sides and points.

I believe the necklace has been made from metal clay, with the star stamped into it. I’ve added red lines to indicate 2 areas that have a metal clay type appearance a lumpy section and around the jump ring hole looks like it’s been fixed up with slip.

Had the necklace been made in metal it wouldn’t have those formations.

I wonder if it was made out of silver clay.

I found two similar in style, but with a different “constellation” pattern. Both were more similar to the one found with the victim than the current ones I am seeing on most sites.

The Etsy person I reached out to was nice enough to reply quickly and wish everyone luck/the best in giving this victim a name and returning her to her family. But he stated that he is not the artist that creates these pendants and that he is not familiar with “Zodiac constellations”. He said he outsources these pendants, but it is more of a “business” rather than an inspired, knowledgeable and talented artist.

(Edited to add link for the pendant I thought looked similar in general style.)

Similar style, but if you look closely the one you think looks similar isn’t shallow divots like the victims one, they are drilled holes that go all the way through.

Why would it be a crime to remove something from an abandoned refrigerator before it became a crime scene?

It definitely sounds like this guy was up to something shady if he is hiking out to the fridge repeatedly. I have a hard time believing he would call it in if he put the body out there. However, I also have a hard time believing a body just showed up the next day. Very strange.

This all reminds me of the guy who was supposedly setting traps for rabbits or something, and found Joseph Zarelli, but didn't report because he was possibly in the area for other reasons.

I think this guy is probably uninvolved. I think he was afraid to call the police about this body, because he had a record, and that fear meant when he actually called, he presented himself as the most shifty guy ever.

I mean, I know 'first witness, first suspect', but my gut is telling me this guy isn't the guy, he's just a guy with a past who did all the wrong things to try to cover his butt and made himself look responsible, when actually, he's just a guy with a record who knew he couldn't avoid reporting the body, probably because he touched or opened the fridge on at least one occasion before out of curiosity, and knew his prints and DNA would be on it.

I mean, if it turns out that I'm wrong, that's fine, but at this stage, I'm not feeling it.

MOO

I'm thinking along the same lines. He knew his record as a RSO would ring a lot of alarm bells for LE.

Same.

I am wondering if the fridge was a drop off/pick up point for drugs or something? Hence his knowledge of it, touching it, repeated visits to it, etc? And was someone else setting him up to take the fall, knowing he could be placed there, his prints would be on the fridge, he has a past record, ...?

Regardless, it is all odd.

Regardless

I had missed the part about him making repeated visits to the fridge prior to reporting??? [snipped as I found the link]

Body of mysterious tattooed woman found stuffed inside fridge in NJ forest

Tyrrell told cops he went hiking Dec. 21, stopped at the fridge and took something out of it, the state police said.

He said he then came upon the victim’s body the next day, according to the New York Daily News. He sent the state police a signal, then waited for them to arrive before walking them to the victim.

drugs. that is my guess. Had he placed the body there he would never have reported it and admitted to having removed "something" from it the day prior. JMO The fridge was a drug drop. If so then others known to Tyrell are visiting/using the fridge for that purpose. So even if Tyrell didn't put her there, he knows the person or persons who did and they may have been trying to frame him.
