I was able to hear the Presser from @Jo in Calif ( apparently I had to turn the volume on SMH!) anyway, they are showing his picture now. Worth watching. He is officially being charged with Murder.

They feel there are more victims or family who will come foward, saying if they have a fear because they are undocumented they won't ask and will help get the services they need.

Towards the beginning of the presser it was said that another family let their kid go and stay with the coach (Garcia Aquino must have presented himself as trustworthy ); but later pressed charges for SA.
Why was this "coach" not already locked away ?

Calls to Oscar's phone went unanswered, but there was a response from the phone to a text, which said, "I'm going to a party," according to the family

*The case filed Monday charged Garcia Aquino with a single count of first degree murder, with the special circumstance allegation that the murder happened during the commission of another violent felony, such as a robbery or rape.

The other assault charge accused Garcia Aquino of assaulting a man with the intent to commit rape in February 2024 and alleged that Garcia Aquino "took advantage of a position of trust and confidence" in carrying out the attack

And HOW did he remain a coach???? It said the name of his soccer team/league or whatever, I didn't catch it though. I'm sure it will be in an news report soon. These leagues/schools/ etc have to be held responsible as well. IMO My husband and I coached, soccer/cheering/baseball/softball some for the school and some for the township and I was active in my childrens school and activities/trips etc. We had to get a background check/FBI check/finger prints for the school and township. ONE CHILD IS TOO MANY!!!

I am replying to my comment as reference: I question this, they said he had no reported criminal history however he has now been charged with a 2024 crime ( same situation and was reported) so I think he does have one just one that wasn't prosecuted/or charged until this happened. I'm not happy about this and question the CYA situation with LE and Prosecuters. IMO
