LOL. And no matter how much she either cut out or tidied up, by the time she finished "editing" the book would be twice as long, less logical, and far less precise.

She could add a simple line to each of his ethical violations concerning her that would serve her need for edification nicely:

"Working with Ms. Arias each day was like being presented with a breakfast prepared from the contents of the city dump and the local sewage treatment plant.

But other than that, I like her a lot."

"She often acted like a petulant, spoiled 5 year old child during our meetings, consuming the entire time allotted to our meeting screaming and crying and throwing a tantrum because she had failed to recognize my superior legal knowledge and the fundamental awesomeness of my brilliant legal maneuverings.

But other than that, I like her a lot."

"Visiting Yreka was like visiting a large truckstop. Even the Starbucks was dirty. For a long time after that I would refer to Ms. Arias as 'Truckstop Jodi'.

But other than that, I like her a lot."

Who is Nurmi?

A man in dire need of anger management classes before JM's book is published, instantly becomes a best seller in a category that matters and gets great reviews, and before JM goes on a national book tour for two months and is seen on TV and online, pen in hand, signing so many autographs his fingers feel numb by the end of each night's star appearance.

Nurmi can hold his own book tour via Youtube, featuring his parents sitting on a couch and explaining to the public why his book has been so misunderstood and in fact deserves a place of honor on bookshelves everywhere.

Who is Nurmi?

An attention seeking defender of the dregs of society whose sharp legal mind reminds one of a rusted out knife blade buried in a reeking swamp, that was once used in the commission of a horrible crime.

Why would Jodi consent to Nurmi writing a book? For the same reason she gave interviews. Attention. She probably thought it was a pro-Jodi book. She hopes potential future jurors would read it. She never expected this in a million years. This is providing he actually needed her permisson to write a book.

Found it, Hope4More. She pitched a fit over some motion he wanted to file (she didn't want him to file it). He never told us what the motion pertained to, just described her fit. According to KN "she cried and pitched a fit." She "droned on like a child who was not getting her way and she just kept going while I sat there." She wouldn't stop, their visiting time was over, and KN left. Days later she scolded him for leaving.

Wonder what the motion was about. Probably nothing important.

Thank you for taking the time to look that up! So she threw a fit over just one nameless motion, not many. My first thought was that she understood that his filing a gazillion motions lessened her chance of winning an appeal.

Silly me. That smirky killer wasn't worried about appeals for the same reason she only wanted to talk with Nurmi about cats and Hershey candy bars- - she never doubted her ability to lie and manipulate her way to an acquittal.

She really really was really really shocked when the jury betrayed her as they did.

If it was really only one motion, I wonder which one it was.

He mentions in the book that she waived A/C privilege by speaking publically about their relationship and strategy. I don't see how that justifies the things he's saying, but that's his rationale, so I don't think her permission was sought.

We can't tell at this point if she knows about it or not. I have no doubt she will, but probably the only way we'll know for sure is if she files a complaint against him.

Could be one under seal for all we know. As completely baseless unsupported and wild speculation, perhaps it had to do with the sex tape or the playing of it in court.

That day was one of very few where she displayed genuine emotion. She definitely disagreed with Nurmi about playing it in "open" court and hated him for doing so.

But who knows. It could just as easily been a completely insignificant motion and she pitched a fit because he called her Ms. Arias when he handed a copy to her.

The level of anger in his book is astounding, mostly directed at the killer. He even promised to save the worst for last in an open letter to her in the final volume, promising that it will not be rated 'PG'. This book is so outside the norm and expected from a professional standard. I can't help but believe that her reaction will be as bad as expected, and if there's any legal recourse she can take, she will. What's equally astounding is he must be expecting that as well, and in fact seems to be inviting it. It's incredible.

Would he need a motion to play the sex tape, as opposed to entering it into evidence? Didn't both sides want it in evidence, and once it was in it was fair game? Once it was in evidence, then playing it would be strategy, but not a motion per se.

I was thinking maybe it was one of the many motions to delay, since she was ready to get this legal business behind her and get back to her traveling.

You're thinking too logically. :D. I wasn't being serious. Except that it wouldn't surprise me at if JSS allowed even mountains of motions to be sealed along with so much else.

About Nurmi and book. I read most of the intro, thanks to that Amazon site glitch, but it did cut off mid sentence before the end.

That last sentence seemed to be saying that he understood he may well not be a practicing attorney in the near future...

I hadn't heard that! Can anyone with the book please clarify?

SENTENCING

I just watched the sentencing again. This monster made a statement that was so laughable as to be ridiculous. "If she allocated and asked for the death penalty, all her family, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, and many cousins and friends, would suffer greatly. Talk about narcissism. Where were all these devoted people during her penalty trial? In Yrika having a good time?

Then that letter Sandy read at sentencing, authored by the killer, where she says she "stumbled upon the worst mistake of her life". I think that she is mirroring what Travis thought, "HE stumbled upon the worst mistake of his life then LOST that life at the monsters hands. That letter was so CMJA it was pathetic. Then the killer steps forward and out spews her LIES, LIES and more LIES. She once again tries to hurt the family with her trashing of their brother. Who would believe a man with a slit throat would continue to try to attack her. I doubt he was even able to continue to defend himself.

This is not the exact quotes but similar:

Well Nurmi did mention in his book that "she creeped him out and if he could have filed a motion for "creepiness", he would have". I wonder if maybe he told her that? LOL.

He also admitted that Travis was "trying to escape from her when he ran down the hall"

It says: "Yes, I got paid to represent Ms. Arias but it was always against my will and it was not truly worth it. Representing Ms. Arias took up the bulk of my time, it prevented me from truly starting my practice, heck it may even prevent me from ever having a real practice."

Oh boo hoo. :boohoo:
