They got information as to the phone number that had been used to call Bosma recently and subscriber info.

Jackson says he learned that Bosma's phone hadn't been active since shortly after he went missing. They had done a search through the cell company for his phone to see who the last callers were.

The number was 6473032279 and came back to a "Lucas Bate." Yesterday, Hamilton police officer Steve Lassalin told the court that he attempted to get video surveillance footage from a Mobile Tech location in Etobicoke when a phone was sold to a person who gave the name Lucas Bate. There wasn't any video surveillance going back that far for the police to obtain.

Jackson says at that time he had a description that Sharlene Bosma had given about the two men she saw. Jackson went to Igor to speak with him about the two men he saw.

At 5:13 p.m. on May 6, Bosma called the Bate phone. At 7:22 p.m., the Bate phone contacted Bosma's phone. At 9:04 p.m. the Bate phone called Bosma, Jackson testifies.
