Dungey again asks about Millard being "in control." "Mark did what Del wanted him to do," Jennings says, referring to work at the hangar.

Adam Carter Feb 4 2016 2:33 PM
Jennings says Millard always seemed calm with him, never any anger, very "business-like."

That's one point in MS's favour!!!

As for the vehicle's interiors being stripped....do we have any other open missing-persons cases that involved vehicle theft????

Jennings tells Dungey he never had any problem w #Smich. "We go outside for a cigarette sometimes...Hello. How are you doing?"

Jennings tells Dungey #Millard was usually always calm. "Typical Del...Very businesslike."

Jennings tells Dungey vehicles #Millars was working on were regularly stripped of interior. He says he was told DM had allergies to mould.

"You felt that he got rid of you because you told the police about the truck?" asks Dungey. "Yes sir," says Jennings. #MillardSmich

Well, that's one way to put it, I guess.

I can't talk about anything that's said when the jury is out of the room.

Adam Carter Feb 4 2016 2:36 PM
Dungey asks about there being nothing to do with airplanes happening in the hangar. Pillay says he has an issue. Jury is led out.

Jennings: "We don't talk about that...When we're at work, we work. I don't even talk about my daughter and grandkids,"

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 2m2 minutes ago
Dungey asks Jennings again how he could not discuss the discovery of #TimBosma's truck with his SIL... "

"You never asked Del about the truck?" asks Dungey. "Oh, no!" replies Jennings. "Why?" "I didn't know who was involved..."

BBM Interesting comment. He seemed to know DM was the boss who everyone did what was told...yet he didn't know who was involved. That tells me everything going on in that place was shady and it just wasn't talked about. MOO

I wonder how bad DM's allergies were to mould? Did he have to carry an epipen? was that what was in his satchel?

I agree here. I think this is why he didn't tell police where the truck was. Maybe he thought his SIL was involved. JMO

Dungey asks if Jennings ever saw work done on planes there. He says no - says he only saw work on cars or construction.

Adam Carter Feb 4 2016 2:39 PM
Witness and jury being recalled now.

I think anyone that knew DM and spent any time around DM knew he was skeezy and doing illegal things, they just had no idea he was capable of so much more. Or... did they?

Officially calling bs to the mould allergy.

Dungey asks, for truck to be moved from the hangar, would it have to be with permission of Millard? Jennings says he can't be certain.

BINGO!!!!! If he thought it was DM...why hesitate telling the police? Why talk it over with his wife??? BECAUSE HE THOUGHT IT COULD BE HIS SIL!!!!! MOO

Now talking about Jennings reluctance to give his name to Crime Stoppers. "I wanted to discuss it with my family and make sure that my family would be safe. It was a primal instinct to protect my family."

Adam Carter Feb 4 2016 2:44 PM
Jennings says he'd assume Dungey is right, that someone would need Millard's permission to use the trailer at the hangar.

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 2m2 minutes ago
Jennings says he wasn't allowed to go to hangar after hours. "That was made clear...common knowledge, you finish work you don't go back..."

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 2m2 minutes ago
Re: hangar: Dungey: "Did you ever see any work done on airplanes there?" Jennings: "No." Dungey suggests most work was on cars #MillardSmich

Ohhh SS did go to Baja with DM and his friend. Why did they need the third person? Nahhhh.....

The court is seeing pictures of the hangar. Moodie is asking Jennings questions about entrances and using a key fob.

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 2m2 minutes ago
Crown now re-examining Jennings. Looking at photo of #Millard Air hangar. Fence outside entrance. AJ: "only access is with a key fob."

Yes, I think "I didn't know who was involved" makes it clear he was torn between loyalty to his daughter (i.e., his daughter's husband) and doing the "right" thing. I don't mean this in a bad way, as it stands I feel for the guy.
