Jennings told Police he was going to go home and talk to family about it. Would get back to them the next day. #MillardSmich

Jennings didn't tell Crime Stoppers where the truck was. Told them he was concerned for his and family's safety. #MillardSmich

Oh man oh man...

Talked to family about what he found. Told them he needed advice on "what I should do." Says son in law got angry at him and went home.

Angry about...? I'm confused. Hopefully Adam Carter clears it up.

Did he think Tim Bosma was dead at that point and why?Because the seats were gone? Did he see blood? WHy??? WHy not help find TIM???

  • #125
Pretty sure I would have vomited too. At this point, Tim's missing poster was everywhere and it was already all over the news & SM. Not at all surprised he still remembers those numbers. :(

Adam Carter

He went back to work Friday, and was told to work on a trailer that Millard said there was a rush on to be done. “Shane was adamant it had to be done," Jennings says.

Jennings says he was trying to remain anonymous. “I didn’t know how far this went. I didn’t want to bring harm upon myself or my family.”

"I was in shock. I was scared to go to work the next morning. It was very unsettling for me to be there by myself in that hangar."

Jennings says he was in shock. "[Millard never did anything wrong to me. He treated me with respect. I didn't know how involved he was. I was told he had bought the truck from someone in Kitchener."

Jennings says he needed to talk to his daughter and his wife about what to do. Shane went his house as well to talk about it and he told him about his truck. "He lost his temper with myself and my wife and then he went home," Jennings says.

He told police he had to go home and talk to his family, discuss it, and he'd call the police about it Friday morning.

Angry for doubting "the boss" and/or calling crimestoppers

Jennings says he was worried about "how far this went, how many people were involved." The next day at work "Del" wanted the trailer done.

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 1m1 minute ago
Jennings was confused. Says he didn't want to go to work. But he did, played it cool.

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 2m2 minutes ago
"Del had always treated me with respect," recalls Jennings. "Always hi, hello." #Millard smiles as he says this.

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 2m2 minutes ago
Jennings said earlier his son in law was close with "Del" #Millard

Did he think Tim Bosma was dead at that point and why?Because the seats were gone? Did he see blood? WHy??? WHy not help find TIM???

Ugh, how awful. I understand that would have been a terrible situation to find himself in....but do the right thing!!!

Millard's lawyer has an objection. Jury is led out. I can't tell you what's being discussed now.

That realization for Mr. Jennings certainly would throw one for a disturbing loop!
Poor man to endure such stress, a hero really.

Angry at HIM??????? Tim's truck is sitting in DM's hangar and the SIL is angry at HIM??? Holy cow.

  • #133
So LE could have gotten the truck while still at the hangar... oh my stomach.

As Jennings details work he helped son in law do on trailer, #millard lawyer Pillay stands to object. Jury dismissed. Legal arguments.

  • #135
Why has the SIL not been charged? There is no doubt he told DM about his father-in-law knowing about the truck, hence the rush to get the trailer done.

  • #136
I guess the fear factor was overwhelming for him. Imagine.
However, yes, to think LE could have had the truck on that day, with Mr. Millard present...
Wow

  • #137
I honestly can't fault this guy - he was obviously scared. I sure as heck would be.

I sure see it differently. A hero would have told Crimestoppers where the truck was.
Certainly a terrible situation for Jennings to find himself in, but like Matou said - at this point he would have no idea whether Tim was still alive or what the situation was.

  • #139
What does this guy know about DM to make him fearful?

AJ mentioned earlier that his son in law was in a rush to get the trailer done even before TB's truck was discovered.
