So what made DM feel he was so untouchable?
Why were people like MS and SS so consumed by DM... Did DM have a big bag of drugs and all these other guys followed him around (eating his farts) as my husband would call it, just waiting for DM to ask them to do something cause in return they get some dope?

IF SS was told it was a stolen vehicle but did not know that Tim had been killed, he would not charged as accessory after the fact. You have to have knowledge of the crime in order to be charged as accessory to.

As this case continues to churn in my head, some random thoughts pop up so....

My first reaction when I heard FIL didn't immediately tell Crime Stoppers where the truck was located was frustration. You would think that it would be a no brainer to tell them immediately. But clearly there were other things going through his mind that cloudy his decision making process. With that said, now that we know Tim wasn't alive at this point, telling LE where the truck was on that day isn't as critical. In fact...having time to move the truck adds another detail that helps the Crown....the truck showing up in a trailer in DM's mother's driveway. Another nail for the Crown to potentially drive into DM's coffin? MOO

Maybe SS is the employee DM wrote to his girlfriend about, trying to get him to change his statement. Jennings really wouldn't have been considered an "employee" of MillardAir as he was a co-op student on placement, not a paid employee.

GREAT point! And maybe when SS realized how big this was....he sang like a bird. MOO

Agreed. But my mind starts to wander in a different direction when I heard "Colombian contractors" and details about trailers being built and his trips to Mexico...

On another note...DM's lawyer focused in on DM not hiding the truck. Based on what we are hearing about SS from FIL, and other details about DM....I have a feeling that he felt like that hangar was his safe zone. All his people in cahoots with him. No risk. He was weary of FIL because he wasn't tested over time. He probably only let him in because SS vouched for him. But overall he felt like having that truck in the middle of that hangar was the equivalent of having it buried 10 feet under ground. If I had to bet I would put my money on EVERYONE in that hangar (other than FIL) knew exactly what was sitting there. MOO

Or, by asking if FIL was familliar with MS being around the Hanger.. might it not be possible that RP is trying to establish that DM THOUGHT he bought a truck off MS that came from Kitchener.. The "he thought he legitimately bought a truck, why conceal it" approach?? either way, those two idiots couldn't carry that story across the road in a bucket with a lid on it - FWIW

So is Jennings the older man who was with DM when the police came i.e. "the suits are here."

Big catch right here, also explains why SS is not facing charges.

Probably because he was rich, charismatic, manipulative, generous to his "friends", the party animal, likable and funny to them. My guess is that the drugs flowed, along with booze and good times. Nothing different than Elvis' hangers on, Michael Jackson's etc. Where there is money and a good time with perks there will always be those guys that want to be a part of it. Sad really.

I'm pretty sure DM was living out some wannabe gangster boss fantasy in his head.

I'm sure that ended quickly once he got to real live grown-up prison, hence solitary.

No, he went to Home Depot to pick up some stuff, LE was in while he was out, and when AJ returned, he was fired (because LE had been there, and SS had told DM AJ had gone to LE, no doubt)

but AJ didn't say where the truck was. LE went to the hangar on other evidence. SS sold him out to DM. JMO

Jumping ahead here but, IF it turns out he is guilty of the murder of his father and LB....at this point he would have been thinking he was untouchable and could get away with anything.

“Nothing was stopping you from doing that on Wednesday May 8? Nothing was stopping you?” Pillay asks. He didn't do that on the 8th.

Pillay asking about the Wednesday when Jennings saw the truck. Jennings says the truck was unconcealed out on the hangar floor for that time.

Pillay asking Jennings questions around truck being left in open unattended. No attempt seemingly to hide it. Jennings agrees.

Thursday May 9 is when Jennings called police. He saw Smich at the hangar the day before.

May 8, 2013, Jennings says he was talking to #Millard. #Smich approached. DM looked at MS and nodded to him to leave. Looked upset at him.
