He says the taller man was a "nice looking guy." Clean shaven, shorter brown hair. About 25-30, wearing jeans and an orange tshirt.

While making small talk, the taller man said they were "planning to tow some race cars to Calgary." "The smaller guy was always quiet - almost invisible," Tumamenko said.

The taller guy got in for a test drive, but in the passenger seat. Igor was driving. The shorter guy got in the back, he said.

So maybe one reason Igor was not shot like Tim, was that he was driving, and shooting him would likely cause an accident, damaging the truck, and calling all kinds of attention to DM and MS. In the Bosma test drive, DM made sure he was driving. It was also later at night, with the cover of darkness, and in a more rural area. DM likely thought they had a better chance of getting away with it, and as mentioned before, Igor was a very large guy -- difficult to move the body around, and into the incinerator with truck seats. It is all so gruesome, and DM was of course smiling' while MS was doing his best to be invisible. Maybe DM even liked the sounds of Tim's truck better, and wanted to see it before making his final decision about which truck to steal.

Looks like it! They probably weren't expecting Igor to drive to start with....coupled with the busy area of the test drive....then throw in Igor's "experience" in the Israeli army and you have 2 guys who know they are over-matched. MOO

But were they really thinking about killing a man during day-light? If things went differently on this test drive would they have killed him???

An admission in the case now: A document read out that Mark Smich was, in fact, the rear passenger in the vehicle. Tumamenko picked him out in a lineup later on.

All parties agree: 1. Mark #Smich did go on a test drive with Igor and was rear passenger. 2. Smich was ID'd by Igor in a police lineup.

I seriously doubt they (DM & MS) were going to do anything to this guy in broad daylight in the city. I think it was a test run.
