Cursive, print, various type styles, all of these can be confusing. IT's first language isn't English, but he didn't waver on recognizing what the word said. It said "ambition".

Iaccio has been sworn in as an expert in cell communications. He got a call from police on May 7 after #TimBosma vanished. #HamOnt #Bosma

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 30s30 seconds ago
There were 2 production orders by HPS in this case for 2 numbers--one was the Lucas Bate phone (the phone that called #Bosma on May 6)

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 1m1 minute ago
Also a phone registered to Brendan Daily. Spelling is unclear.

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 1m1 minute ago
289 number belonged to a "Brendan Daly." #MillardSmich

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 2m2 minutes ago
Iaccio says in the particular case, @HamiltonPolice made 2 production orders. 1 for "Bate" records & 1 for records of a 289
number. #Millard

No he meant upper case, capitalized, as opposed to lower case, which is different from being in script form (joined) or not.

My dad, who is Dutch, would also think that upper case is printed and lower case is written.

May 7 he got call at home at 2 am from @HamiltonPolice asking for help for a "humanitarian" request.

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 1m1 minute ago
Iaccio received emergency call for request late at night while at home in bed. Logged on to network from home. #MillardSmich

Now THAT'S service! It was Wind? ......really?

The court is seeing entry records as to when police contacted Iaccio looking for information.

Police contacted Iaccio looking for information on a particular number on May 7, after Bosma disappeared. They were claiming there was an "imminent threat to life" at the time.

Iaccio got a call at 2am on May 7, 2013, from #HamOnt police wanting info on the phone that called #TimBosma for test drive

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 2m2 minutes ago
Humanitarian request. As we learned last week, an emergency situation. Police can get info without court ordered a life is in danger. #Bosma

Adam Carter

Police were calling him just after 2 a.m. about the Bate phone.

When a cell phone is powered off, it sends a message to the network - that way the network doesn't try to send a call to a phone that isn't on, Iaccio says.

In most cases police are looking for GPS coordinates of the device or historical phone records, Iaccio says.

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 1m1 minute ago
Iaccio says typically police are looking for call records, phone status (off/on/etc). "Bate" phone was off at time of check #MillardSmich

No he meant upper case, capitalized, as opposed to lower case, which is different from being in script form (joined) or not.

What I'm thinking is that because it wasn't script, he just may have taken that to mean capitalized. Otherwise, it's a strange discrepancy.

The Bate phone had been powered off since 9:23 p.m. on May 6 2013, he says. The last tower it pinged off of 1532 Wilson Street West in Ancaster.

Iaccio says typically, Wind can get GPS coordinate of customer's phones as long as it's on. Had been off since 9:23 pm May 6/13. No luck.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 1m1 minute ago
He was able to tell police when phone was powered off. He got that message when he tried to ping the Bosma phone.

There's no credit check or any kind of verification done on a Wind Mobile prepaid phone.

Adam Carter
Feb 8 2016 2:53 PM
The customer name and address report on the Bate phone is Lucas Bate, at 350 Kipling Avenue in Etobicoke. It was prepaid, and activated on March 11, 2013. That location was later revealed to be a school. There was no Bate there.

If a tower is a downtown core, the radius of the tower is 1 to 1.5 kilometres. If you're somewhere rural it can be 2 to 2.5 kilometres.

Cell tower is a general guideline as to an area -- not as specific as GPS.

Iaccio says Pre-paid plans = No credit check or "verification" of ID done. #MillardSmich

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 1m1 minute ago
Iaccio has customer name & address report for "Bate" phone: Lucas Bate, 350 Kipling Ave, #Etobicoke. Activated Mar. 11/13. Pre-paid #Millard

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 1m1 minute ago
Correction: not the Bosma phone, the Bate phone. (We're working from phone numbers so gets confusing.)

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 3m3 minutes ago
Turned off just after 9 pm and last ping was from a cell tower on Wilson Street in Ancaster.

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 3m3 minutes ago
Iaccio says cell towers are just a "general guideline." Radius of tower depends on many factors. 1-1.5 km in urban centre, rural@= 2-2.5 km

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 3m3 minutes ago
Iaccio was able to tell police in this case the LB phone was powered off around 9:20pm. Last ping was in Ancaster. #Bosma

Is Don Sauve actually his name ( the cop) ? :what:

  • #279
Name BD could be someone in the vehicle redecorating business? Possible, given that DM was contacting the autobody business in the days after TB was killed.
