I don't like seeing them myself, so I scroll quickly when they're posted. I've seen so many pics of cold blooded murderers but there's just something about that flippin' smirk of his that makes me feel nauseated. While I have no use for MS either, at least he doesn't give the impression that he's gloating over what he did.

Did they post a mugshot of MS? I must have missed it. Can you post a link please?

Of course DM may have gotten out and driven the Yukon, but considering that it would appear that DM wanted the truck, I can't imagine him letting MS- who didn't even have a drivers license #1) drive a truck that size #2) take the lead (testimony that Yukon was following TB's truck) MOO

This always had me thinking too. Because if you've just murdered someone, possibly premeditated, would you want someone without a license to drive either vehicle? I just have this "third person" feeling and have had it all along...

I didn't say anything about a mugshot. I was referring to DM giving reporters the impression that he's gloating, with all the grinning, smirking, smiling, waving, like it's a stinking social event. On THAT note, not a reporter yet has expressed that MS is doing the same thing. Google.com is a great place to start to locate all those comments by reporters that contrast the demeanor of these two creeps.

You can see exactly where Pillay is going to go with this.....

Yes, he can try that route as defence, why not? Why not maximize DM's Dr. Jekyll side. I'm starting to pity DM myself. Maybe there's even a twist at the end of all this like in the fictional story. Although how to minimize DM's entanglement with gangsta' affairs is going to be near impossible.

That's my thought. I really think we'll see her driving the Yukon that trailed behind. MOO

This may have been asked already.....but if this was the case, would she not have been charged for her actions that night? Her charges are only for May 9 if I have this all straight.....

Maybe MS keeps his head turned to the side and avoids expression being seen, like he did at the test drives. I'd bet he would wear a hoody to court if he could. JMO

If she was involved in the theft of the truck on May 6 she would also be facing first-degree murder charges...but she didn't pitch in until May 9. Accessory after the fact.

I completely agree. One would think, after all the investigative work was done, all the evidence uncovered, all the witness statements, etc., if there really was a 3rd person that night in on killing Tim and stealing his truck, that person would have been charged, and sitting in that court room right along side the other two.

I'm really stuck on that one too. The DNA was not collected until September and her involvement was not until May 9th, is what we understand.
It seems really out of order. Maybe that officer was going on vacation or something so they needed to get that in there. Seems so out of place. Maybe the next days will make sense of it all.

Her DNA might be on the toolbox that held the gun.

This is fact. I, along with many other friends refresh these flowers as often as we can.

I join with others in saying thank you so much for these touching acts of kindness. It is these acts of kindness that restores our faith in fellow humans.

CN was involved early on and LE were on to her. They were getting her DNA sample. Not sure why it took so long for CN to be charged. When did LE find out that CN helped DM move the truck to MB's house??

They likely continued to keep her under surveillance, hoping she would lead them to more evidence.

It looks to me like he got it so that he can see it himself as a means of encouragement. Ambition and Discipline are words that maybe a grandfather would use to tell someone, to encourage them. JMO

Thanks......that's what I thought.....so logically we have to believe that CN wasn't involved on the night of the murder and could not have been driving anything......or at least LE have no knowledge of her doing so?

You're right and it has been brought up. I really don't think the date is completely relevant. The fact she is charged as an accessory is enough for me but that's JMO
We'll hear her exact role as it unfolds in court but I just have this nagging feeling she could be the third person they mentioned.
Personally I feel LE released the "third person" info right away, maybe calculated to say "look. We KNOW", because they knew it was fact from surveillance and then tried to sweep it under the rug so the public wouldn't panic when they arrested DM and MS.
They said there was no longer a threat to the public. That's because the two accused were arrested. They needed enough evidence to charge CN as accessory and that took more time because it wasn't as obvious. Since it came well after.
A lot of evidence and facts are withheld from the public in a murder investigation. LE I feel releases what they want when they want, and lets the public know only what they want us to and when. MOO

Wow, that was pretty brazen of them. That area is right in the open and there's a house right on the corner.

A six minute walk. MOO.

I drove by here today. The treeline between Trinity Road and the field is quite thick and extends quite far south of the intersection. I think they may have pulled quite far into the field, with their lights off and parked close into the south end of that treeline where they'd be mostly hidden from view. From there, the distance to the Bosma's home is much less than from the laneway into the field off of Book Road. I would guess, if one was hurrying so as to minimize the chance of being seen, the walk from the end of the treeline to the Bosma driveway wouldn't take more than a minute or two. And they may have walked either in the field or crossed through the ditch to walk on the road.

I notice the driving time from the Bosma driveway to the entrance to the field is just one minute. They did act fast, indeed :(

All MOO

Sounds like it was a good plan. ;)

I don't agree. She didn't commit the felony. So no murder charges. If she's an accessory after the fact this is the definition.

Definition

Someone who assists another 1) who has committed a felony, 2) after the person has committed the felony, 3) with knowledge that the person committed the felony, and 4) with the intent to help the person avoid arrest or punishment. An accessory after the fact may be held liable for, inter alia, obstruction of justice.

As friends of the family, it's hard to know what to always do. It's just something that's become a part of our life, leaving something fresh and beautiful for Sharlene to see when she drives out of her driveway, or looks out the front door, in hopeful reminder that along with her, we will NEVER forget.

Or maybe he copied his girlfriend at the time because he doesn't have an original thought in his head other than how to steal a truck by murdering the owner.
