Court now looking at burned out, charred front seat assembly. "There are no seat cushions left, it looks like it had been set on fire," she says. Investigators checked the seats for blood, but none was found. Not surprising, she says, as it had been set on fire.

Also no emblems on the back of the truck where you'd expect to see dealer info. Those areas were sanded down, she says.

As the pictures are being shown of Tim's truck, I wonder what the reaction is of DM and MS as they sit there? Are they also looking at the pics, or looking away? I know if I were on the jury I'd be watching their reaction right now.

It seems very clear that the plan was to have this truck repainted but they ran out of time because AJ called the police. Had they had a couple of more days....who knows if they ever find the truck. Or if they do, how much of the physical evidence is gone. I know we all wish AJ had told the police where the truck was more quickly...but thankfully he recognized the truck and did something about it. MOO

Why on earth were they sanding off decals??? I have some decent experience with (making/applying/removing) vehicle decals and they're just extra adhesive stickers. Some chemicals or a little elbow grease when peeling would have been a lot smarter for the truck...no?

There were 23 fingerprint impressions found inside - some were comparison and some weren't. Two prints inside were matched to Dellen Millard.

Sounds like when an order to remove "decals" is given, it's pretty thorough. More like remove all identifiers. I don't think this is the first car whose VIN has been switched in that hangar (or the previous hangar)

McLellen now walking us through photos of every item found in the trailer/truck. #Bosma

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 3m3 minutes ago
If officers saw something with the naked eye that needed testing, they would do so.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 2m2 minutes ago
Place items on Kraft paper on floor to keep them from being contaminated.

I thought about using Google Maps to plot the different towers, phones and the times associated etc. Then I remembered I have a job (that I am barely doing,) a wife and three kids....so....time isn't on my side as far as craft projects go. :D

I know what you mean. Im getting frustrated when people are interrupting me at "work" lol
How dare they ask me a work related question! I'm now 4 pages behind!! sigh

Not when you're in a hurry and you're going to paint it anyway.

In hindsight, his delay probably allowed for a lot more evidence. Not the right way to go but everything happens for a reason. ;)
