Ha, makes sense, Snooper. I hadn't connected the dots with those questions by the defense today verifying "payment".

If you recall from the overhead shots of the farm, there were 2 places that forensics were set up. The incinerator was found along the tree line moving north away from the barn along the left side of the pathway (the one the farmer used ...eyes rolling.) The second spot was where they found the burn marks on the ground. That was even further away from the barn, tucked just behind where the tree line bent to the left. It was almost like a hook in the tree line that basically blocked views from the road and neighboring properties. That second spot (according to trusty Google Maps) is approximately 1700 feet (.32 miles/.5 km's) from the road. Half a KM from the road, tucked behind a row of trees.....whatever they did there, they had a LOT of seclusion. MOO

I'm still a little stumped by the seats. I don't have the pictures in front of me but the metal frames looked warped. You can't get that kind of heat in a backyard bonfire, can you?

Dump them with gas and throw a match.

Tealgrove was right, the incinerator kinda does resemble a big smoker:

Court now seeing a picture of Dr. Rogers, wearing a full tyvek suit with booties.

Metal grommets and other foreign debris were also found inside the incinerator, Huys says.

(Could these be from someone's clothing? Jeans, shoes, etc.?)

Feb 17 2016 3:59 PM
A lot of the debris was dusty, or very small. In those cases, those areas were swept into a bag in one area.

Perhaps something related to LB also found? Jewellery, bone fragments, tooth? MOO.

Why is DM even being allowed a trial?!! :maddening: Yeah yeah, it's his right, blah, blah, blah. It's more like he's enjoying the freak show he created and wants to relive it in his mind all over again. Bet he just loving this and to read the daily paper and see his name in print everyday. No doubt he's enjoying tormenting TB's loved ones all over again...sick and disturbing. :stormingmad:
ALL MOO.

The more I think about it, the more it makes sense that it was actually the witness that testified today, that posted that pic. While he himself wasn't the neighbor to the farm in Ayr, his FRIEND was, and that's why he was there, hanging out with a friend, dirt-biking.

I'd have to go back and look at the old threads. I thought the neighbor and his GF posted the pics on twitter, I could be wrong. I remember them being posted for sure by someone who actually saw it. Who that person was, I'd have to go digging to be 100%

That's one of the reasons this case in particular has captivated so many. So many of us can relate in some way to either Millard (not that we're creepy killers but in the way you've outlined above) or with the Bosmas or both. Some even have a connection to the farm in Ayr - simply by way of living in the area and driving past it every single day. It just hit TOO close to home.

I think too it's the scope of the tragic nature of this utterly senseless crime. It feels like there is simply no explanation for where the evidence seems to be leading: two modern products of a normal to privileged suburban life murdered a man in the prime of his life, for a six year old pick up truck. He probably died afraid and his wife and daughter have to live with an unfathomable loss of somebody who just blinked out of their lives, with nothing to even say goodbye to. It's almost unbearably tragic, inexplicable and unjust.

Dump them with gas and throw a match.

When we first moved to farm country from KW, the farm house we rented had a huge "burn pit" which was really just a clearing out near a field with concrete blocks around it. The old guy that lived there didn't put his trash out for collection, he burnt everything. And I do mean EVERY thing. From household furniture to pizza delivery boxes. The pile of junk still there that didn't burn was stuff like metal springs in couch frames, box springs, etc. You could tell what they used to be, but they were pretty warped from the heat.

Exactly, the level of depravity. It's painful enough to deal with the death of a loved one but to hear what those two did to him is just unthinkable. It's the kind of horror that movies are made of, not what happens to someone you know, or the guy who lives down the road. :(

Grommets makes me think he was wrapped in yet another tarp before being put in there, or that a tarp was tossed in there along with him.

Depending on the size they could be from jeans such as Levi's.

There was something I was thinking about last night, the way we all keep saying how strong Sharlene is. I can't but help but wonder if that's just something we tell ourselves because it makes us feel better to think she's strong and coping and can stare down Dellen Millard. My significant other is thin and blond and blue-eyed and boyish-faced like Tim, and he's gone on test drives from Craigslist while selling a car. If this happened to me, I'd like to think I could be 'strong' and stare down Dellen Millard and find some way to get through it, but I suspect I would just be crumbling and dying and furious inside, especially during the trial. My heart goes out to her so much.
She is strong. Does that mean it isn't hard for her or she doesn't go through normal human emotions? Of course not. But when she isn't feeling so strong she has a huge community of friends and family helping her along every step. I know there is a sort of 'schedule' in place to make sure she always has support at court and whenever she needs it.

He also took a picture of an excavator he found in the swamp.

Main said he snapped a photo of the incinerator because "nobody would believe me that it was there."

It peaked your interest? Crown (Craig Fraser) asks. Yes, CM says. He showed the photos to his friend. #Bosma

I wonder what the long pole-like item is, and why Dungey objected other than to say specuation. Did it have MS's fingerprints on it perhaps? MOO.

Huys describing long, pole-like item found with Eliminator. Dungey objects, calls it speculation. Crown disagrees. Judge allows description.

Without being all nit-picky and stuff, those are rivets, not grommets.

Well I wonder what kind of video evidence they have from the hangar - we may yet see these guys on video poking the incinerator with that poker thing.

I don't think it would have been brought up by the Crown if it doesn't figure in the story later.

Main says he doesn't know Dellen Millard. Says he has snowmobiled a few times with the new owners of 2548 Roseville Road, but doesn't know them by name.

Court now seeing a Google Earth shot of the area in Ayr, Ont.

AE whose Twitter account were you copy and pasting from when you posted these tweets? I'm looking for this bold above and cannot fine it. TIA. Is Main saying he has snowmobiled with the present owners who bought the farmland or referring to DM? MOO.

Everything I posted today came from the mobile version of Adam Carter's live blog. Should be linked to today's CBC coverage. If you can't find it I'll try to dig it up when I'm not on my phone.

Can't say that for sure, MS is in general population and there are a lot of drugs in the jails. He's still had plenty of time to reflect.

Someone posted an article that stated MS was segregated and not in general population.
