I know they consider the bones and ash to be all that was left of Tim.

Well some of what was left. There are a lot more buried somewhere IMO. Here is a link to an example of the cremation process and a picture of the number of bone fragments that are left and then ground down to become the final "ashes" given to family.

"The bone is so fragile. Sometimes I would go to pick it up and it would just crumble."

We see a photo of Dr. Rogers in a body suit, standing in The Eliminator: "The only way to do it properly was to get inside"

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 44s45 seconds ago

Rogers got the first samples by bending in & working upside down. Then she had to get inside the incinerator to better see & reach bones

Family again sitting through this evidence. They seem a little more prepared today. Bosma's mother, Mary, is not in the room. She wasn't here yesterday afternoon either when similar evidence was being presented. She has been here every other day.

Rogers brought a team of anthropology students to the farm to assist with exam of two burn sites in field.

I would like to know if those burn marks are roughly the same size as the trailer that the Eliminator is sitting on.

It was cold and windy, she says. There was an odour of an accelerant. Had to open side flaps of tent to let in light and fresh air.

Pin flags were used in each section to show when something was found. One photo shows over 20 orange flags in one small section. "There was an odour of an accelerant in there, so the odours were problematic," Rogers says. The technicians had to take frequent breaks because of the smell.

Now another photo showing a wider shot of the site. There are dozens and dozens of flags where exhibits were found.

Any debris would be pulled and placed in buckets (later was screened). Any exhibits found would be marked with a flag. Documented. #Bosma

I am amazed by the quantity and quality of evidence that is telling the story without any interpretation.

Would the D really want to tangle with such a highly esteemed and respected forensic anthropologist- after all, she's written the book on the subject for them. They refer to "students"- they could be undergrads, grads or doctorate students. IMO, it would be a valuable opportunity for any level of student to work under her supervision on a complex case like this. I'd be surprised if either D questions her on the competency of her students. Matter of fact, she probably scares them- any woman who's able to sit in an incinerator picking out bone fragments definitely has some woman balls!!! MOO

Well if RP starts cross examining this witness about this decision in light of the seriousness of this case, you called it first.
I predict he'll also mention how "out in the open" those burn sites were.
