Well if they did, why was SS using his own cell # and email for company business? ;)

MOO

Maybe MillardAir had "another" website?? For cars?

Charlie the IT guy...

I know I'm getting old & forgetful, but I don't recall ever hearing about a Charlie. Do we know of a Charlie in this case??

Court now seeing the NAPA invoice for the windshield removal kit.
by Adam Carter 12:01 PM

It cost $45.19.
by Adam Carter 12:02 PM

"That is the only one I've ever sold in five years," Agnew says.
by Adam Carter 12:02 PM

They had the part in stock, and it was delivered that day to MillardAir on May 8.
by Adam Carter 12:03 PM

Then on May 9, MillardAir ordered "roll off discs" -- they're two inch round sanding discs.

That's a small grinding disc, most commonly used for breaks, but it can be used to take off paint and rust, too.
by Adam Carter 12:05 PM

Court now seeing the invoice for the roll off discs.
by Adam Carter 12:06 PM

Schlatman called to order the discs over the phone, Agnew says.
by Adam Carter 12:07 PM

Angew says MillardAir was a regular customer, and he had been dealing with Schlatman for three years. MillardAir had an account for two years.

Next invoice is for a sanding disc, used most commonly for brakes or to take off paint, rust. That order made May 9 by Shane.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 2m2 minutes ago
The disc cost $330.81. Shipped same day to Millardair.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 3m3 minutes ago
Crown done. Sachak up for Millard.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 1m1 minute ago
Nothing unusual about ordering the sanding disc, witness says.

I wonder if a certain amount of community outrage re: SS is going to start to build?

  • #93
seems the defence is grasping at straws, whatever little inconsistencies they can find...
We all know it's grasping at straws because we have followed this case from the get go, but my hope is that it is as clear to the jury. Keep in mind these are general folks that have no details like we do on the case, or else they would not have been selected to be on the jury.

I hear you and I would think for jurors who have not served before that it may take some time to get over the culture shock especially the first little while.....but once they've had time to adjust to their new life and routine???

Hey....aren't we just general folks here on the forum and and I have to say I can smell the rubber burning from here. We too are from all walks of life on this forum just like the jurors and look at the connections made on these pages.

can anyone think of why the email address might be AMDSHANER?

I believe AMD is an audio term? On a forum, Shane was selling car speakers and he was known to be a guy who was well versed in car speakers, possibly even working installing them, perhaps before he ever met or started "working" for DM. So I'm guessing it may have been a reference to that and that he's had that email for a long time since he's all over the web with it.

I think that will hinge **completely** on what he has to say on the stand - assuming - he'll be called as a witness. I can't imagine him not being called, but who knows?

Agnew now being cross-examined by Millard's lawyer Nadir Sachak.
by Adam Carter 12:09 PM

There was one other person named Tim who was dealing with MillardAir, Agnew says.
by Adam Carter 12:10 PM

Agnew says there was nothing unusual about the order for the roll off discs that we're ordered.
by Adam Carter 12:11 PM

Agnew again says the most common use for the roll off disc is for grinding rust off breaks.
by Adam Carter 12:12 PM

"You don't know if any other people within NAPA had sold that item or not?" Sachak says about the windshield removal kit. Agnew previously testified he had only ever sold one of those. Agnew says he doesn't know.
by Adam Carter 12:13 PM

Dungey has no questions. Agnew is excused.

by Adam Carter 12:15 PM

He already testified about Dellen Millard's arrest.
by Adam Carter 12:16 PM

Now he's here to talk about Mark Smich's arrest.
by Adam Carter 12:16 PM

There we go, now we're getting to MS!
