She went to hangar in May 3, 2013. "There was no business going on at that time...There was no business operations."

There you go...the RACE. BAM.

  • #223
The entry fee for that race is around $18,000, Williams says, and then there were expenses for hotels, food, and towing the jeep down on a trailer.

Williams spoke with police on May 14, a couple of days after Millard was arrested.

There was a mention that Millard and Shane were going to "go back to do a race," she says -- that's a Baja keep race in Mexico.

And there it is!! I've suspected it all along and can't believe an innocent man had to die for this. :maddening:

The fuel cost was around $10,000, Williams says, after looking at her witness statement.

I don't quite understand why mom was on the payroll? Did DM pay everyone off? MOO

I thought the big day would be the day that CN testified but I am quite sure that SS will be called. I can 't see how he can't. That will be the big day IMO.

Is it possible that she was a paid board member?

I want to know if she's always been on the payroll of MillardAir? Maybe this was part of the divorce agreement with WM? And is that legal? To pay someone who does not work at the company? I know a lot of married couples do this when they own a company to offset salaries but I'm wondering about after they are divorced? I guess she has always been a part owner of the company?

I don't think so. Maybe he was paying his mother to hide some money for himself. MOO

The more information that comes out, the more I'm looking forward to what SS will have to say on the stand.

Court now hearing about the invoice for the Eliminator. Williams says it didn't stick out for her.

Moodie asks to address Justice Goodman without the jury in the room. They're led out.

That was my first thought too but Williams just testified that the only employee DM kept was SS. I am assuming that means MB joined the payroll afterward.

  • #238
Maybe the better question would be, did MB know she was on the payroll, or was that some nifty little trick DM pulled?

  • #239
I find it incomprehensible that after WMs death, the bank wouldn't have sent someone over to check on their $3.7M investments? Was DM simply using the loan to keep him afloat until the inheritance was finalized?

Bang!! 18k for race entry for BAJA??? HAHA, it's around 2-5k plus expenses! That depends on class you enter! I looked it up during week 3 discussion, number aren't far off (2007-2012)

Typo maybe??
