I have a question about the defence. So both Mark and Dellen know who [allegedly] killed Tim. Did they both tell their lawyers that the other did it? Does Pillay actually believe Mark it? Does Dungey believe Millard did? Or what?

Pretty fascinating and gut wrenching day today.

I have been following along here since TB first disappeared and this site has been an absolute wealth of information and interesting discussion.

My heart breaks every time I see a picture of SB or read a tweet like today about her sobbing. I am not a vengeful person by nature but I can’t help thinking that even the death penalty isn’t enough punishment for these two.

With that said, I have been trying over the past several weeks to ignore what I know and look only at the evidence the crown has submitted to try to put myself in the jury’s shoes. I have also tried taking the position of a defense attorney and thinking about what I would do if I had the Godforsaken task of defending these two monsters.

There is certainly a SIGNIFICANT and OVERWHELMING amount of circumstantial evidence. Definitely enough to convince me that these two should never see the light of day.

BUT, this is also a trial without a body (It feels awful to say this but there is no actual scientific proof TB is dead), without a clear motive, and without any conclusive story from the blood spatter, DNA, video or gunshot residue.

I had always expected that this was going to be a case with a whopping amount of scientific (blood, DNA) evidence but this is really more of a circumstantial case. While the crown has done a wonderful job of laying out the massive amounts of circumstantial evidence, I think the testimonies of MM, CN and SS are going to be critical to tie all of those pieces together.

All very MOO

I always wonder what the lawyers are told by their clients.

Millard's lawyer still focusing on the 1st video, which expert said appears to show a vehicle with 'consistent features' to Bosma's truck

Millard's lawyer says there's no way to know for sure if it's Bosma's truck. Expert agrees they share similar features. #Bosma

Is anyone else wondering about MM holding a binder and file folder when photographed by a surveillance camera mentioned in today's tweets? The file folder may be the one with the Eliminator invoice in it? If it is, perhaps she was asked by MS and/or DM to fetch it from the files at the hangar? She and MS were inside the Yukon and maybe they intentionally left it in that truck for DM?

All just wondering out loud on my part.

All MOO.

I'm wondering if it's quite innocent initially. Maybe MS came to pick her up to take her to a job interview. She would have her resume in a folder perhaps. She did have her resume on DM's computer I believe. Other things could have happened later. Just a thought.

As was discussed here earlier, I believe they shot TB very early near his own house, then stopped, maybe where his cell phone was recovered, wrapped him in a tarp and moved him to the truck bed. If they had been stopped for a traffic violation, it would be quite difficult to explain his body in the passenger seat.
They then had about one hour at the farm before going to the hanger and I believe this is when they transferred TB to the Eliminator before towing it to the hanger.
All JMHO

if they moved him at the location in Brantford or anywhere else he was bleeding, there would be blood found all over the ground?

Plaxton agrees with Pillay that jurors can watch this video repeatedly to see things for themselves.

Pillay shows a short clip from 6:05pm (again based on original time stamp, not corrected time) that shows a vehicle driving past. #Bosma

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 56s57 seconds ago
Now he is comparing a freeze frame of the vehicle in that clip to one captured at 6:20pm (original time stamp time). #Bosma

Pillay now asking Plaxton about similarities of a truck "similar to the Bosma vehicle" in two videos.

Not to mention all over THEM. How do you explain that in a traffic stop?

I am super confused right now. If he took the most obvious route, which is the 403 to Brantford, Google maps tell us it is approximately 16 minutes from Super Sucker to Oak Park Road (where Brantford Bobcat is located.) Now...considering they came from the left on the Bobcat video that suggests they didn't take the 403 to Brantford...or they exited at some point and came in from the north of Brantford. Which route did he take that took 29 minutes? MOO

Clearly I am hell bent on figuring this out. Another obvious route that we've discussed in the past is to turn left on Wilson St and take the quieter highway 2. Look how long that route takes!!!

https://www.google.com/maps/dir/43....0x882c66045e66e30b:0xc82cfc0c17ee4848!1m0!3e0

I definitely think they avoided highways as much as possible.

I have a niggling wonder about why MS signed the paper acknowledging he was in the truck with Igor. ... the day before TB was abducted, whats up with that? AFTER the trial starts - day 4 - it is presented as evidence

http://www.annrbrocklehurst.com/2016/02/by-special-request-day-4-of-the-tim-bosma-trial.html

Leads me to think he is gonna get on the stand and testify....

Good catch and I think you might be right. I believe MS might have had a weak moment of conscience, admitting to being there for the truck test with Igor and DM.
Then using the fact that nothing happened on the drive with Igor so why should anything happen on the drive with TB?

"I had no idea that DM would shoot TB" (perhaps states MS)

Except for the fact that I believe MS is quite the liar and made up stories to both his mother and MM about this whole affair. Maybe some sick story how TB attacked them and they had no choice but to shoot him.

As an aside, I wonder if MB, interior decorator, still thinks her good boy is innocent?
All JMHO

That could be true .. but I think the fact that they even mentioned she had a file folder means it may come into play during her testimony. I'm sure she told them what it was. (if anything pertaining to the case at all)

Plaxton agrees with Pillay that he can't say they are not the same vehicle (shared characteristics). #Bosma

Pillay still going through these comparisons. It seems he may actually be comparing two different trucks seen on the Super Sucker video, but that isn't completely clear.

I don't know if anyone actually testified to her holding the folder...probably just excited reporters making that observation. It may not be important at all. MOO

This line of questioning drives me nuts. It wreaks of desperation....when you got nuttin', grasp at straws. Don't the activities shown in the video have more value than the exact time? They were able to calibrate the time using sunset. Let's say the times are within 15 minutes after being corrected...does that all of a sudden make the content of the videos less valid? Drives me coco-bananas! MOO

This might well be the time the jury is muttering "yada, yada, yada"
