I think yes to both. And I was thinking that was the kind of neurotic text I would send to someone who suddenly told me not to come around. (I also occasionally have a 'big mouth' problem.)

Just a note as to why SS was not charged with anything:

these texts the jury is seeing had to come from SS's phone. Obviously, he handed his physical phone over to LE so they could see for themselves the conversations he had with DM. Had he deleted any of them, LE would have known that based on the phone records from DM's phone. I think he was 100% transparent with LE and didn't know jack-squat about what DM and MS had done.
