Great post! The fact that these guys are being pulled further and further into the discussion just shows that the Defense's approach is having some affect. They are hoping the jury is being sucked in as much as some of us on WS. To me it's all noise. I'm hoping MM and CN's testimony is a lot cleaner than these guy's have been and then the Crown can put a nice bow on this during their closing....clear out the clutter. MOO

One thing I think we can count on from CN's testimony is that it will be very driven by what her lawyer wants her to say, given her circumstances.

Sometime you gotta wonder why evidence makes it into a trial...bacon...maybe it has something to do with the hoses?

One thing I think we can count on from CN's testimony is that it will be very driven by what her lawyer wants her to say, given her circumstances.

I think possibility of many more years of :jail: will be a catalyst to at least try and minimize her involvement and knowledge. Let's hope her charge, and the evidence against her forces her to come clean.

There was a picture on WS recently of AM tending the BBQ and it certainly looked like a whole lot more than just bacon on the grill......
Bacon was likely for the burgers but was it mentioned if the bacon was back bacon or turkey bacon :hilarious:maybe

I wonder if all the questions from DM's lawyers, in regards to having the BBQ, were in relation to SS testifying that the incinerator was referred to as the BBQ?? Trying to show the texts in relation to the BBQ in the days leading up to the crime, were actually about a BBQ at DM's & not the Eliminator? Food for thought. MOO

I think it was more to show that DM was the social engineer of the group that planned gatherings down to the details, including the balance of males and females. The bacon/BBQ itself is a red herring.

Can someone please remind me if we figured out that the eliminator would have been able to operate on just the generator or if it needed to be plugged in? I can't remember what was determined and just had a thought. TIA

Apologies if this has been answered but I am playing catch up. if it's like my backup gas generator at home then the generator supplies the electricity thus there is no need for it to be plugged in elsewhere. If I recall, the generator was needed to provide the electricity to run the fans on the afterburner.

But I thought he said he worked 7:00 to 4:00 at one point. And didn't he say he was at Maple Gate when LE showed up on the Saturday morning (the 11th) and they told him to leave? MS started texting him to get the drugs out on Friday night and IIRC, he texted around midnight and said it was done. He put them in his car and parked it across the street. On the Saturday (the 11th) he was texting back and forth with MS and delivering the drop off. He was back around 4:00 and later the same day gave MB and CN the dog. DM's arrest was announced on the 11th. What time was the press conference? When did he work?

AM did state his hours as being 7-4 (from memory). AM did tell MH that Maplegate had been raided in the morning. But yet AM also said he was working at Campbell's on the 11th, that he saw the news on the TV in the break-room saying DM had been also charged with forcible confinement, and that is how he found out about the charges, and that that was the first time he put two and two together. He said he then went to tell Bochenek who was also at work at Campbell's at the time. Seems there are a lot of impossibilities with his own various testimonies. They can't *all* be true. And seems there are many discrepancies between his and MH's testimonies.

Nothing she says can ever be used against her in her own trial, so hopefully her circumstances are not a barrier to full truth in this trial.
