Reminds me of going to the fireworks. Some oohs and aahs, everyone anticipating the grand finale... the last fireworks are lit and they go pop poof fizzle. People standing around waiting thinking "Was that the grand finale?" MM's testimony just doesn't have the "ooh aahhaaa" that I anticipated. It was rather lame. IMO

I wasn't waiting for any grand show, but I do think that MM's testimony that DM and MS were in a celebratory mood after the crime speaks to the fact that this crime was premeditated and unfolded as intended. I think that was very important.

This is all starting to make so much sense; DM is Peter Pan, the boy who never wanted to grow up, and the rest of his crew are the Lost Boys, willing to do anything to keep living in Neverland.

MOO.

No, I think DM intended to become an organized crime lord, and there is nothing innocent or playful about his activities.

I don't disagree. Maybe I've always seen Peter Pan as a lot more sinister than many people...

BBM - almost sounds like he is referring to more than the lawnmower mission......MOO......To be determined....

It appears that DM's defense has successfully argued out whatever it is that MM claimed DM asked her to do. Maybe we'll find out from the media when the jury is sequestered?

My thoughts exactly. That was very careful wording on Dungey's part. "something very serious criminally".

I thought it a rather clever, lighthearted analogy. Didn't realise the sinister connection.

I think the fact that neither seemed to be upset, agitated or nervous when they picked her up and that both were carrying on as if nothing happened and the "mission went well" is about all the jury needs to take out of any of this testimony.

MM obviously doesn't like DM and no longer appears to have much love for MS. So the fact that she wanted to elaborate on something before this trial, that it appears she "brushed over" 3 years ago in an attempt to protect MS perhaps, suggests to me that she also understands the significance of it.

Good point. I agree.

Somehow I don't think anything these guys did compares in a lighthearted way to a children's book.

Bizarre how DM's actions are dismissed as play this way, while others are demanding MM is hung for merely knowing about it.

"You weren't comfortable with Dellen Millard, were you?" Dungey says. "He just gave me the creeps, he would stare at me up and down, make sexual comments to me, he would hit on me and if Mark and I would fight, he'd be like ... make a little hint, like, you're fighting with him, but me and you aren't fighting right now," Meneses says, adding that Millard would also slap her bottom.
by Adam Carter 10:56 AM

Millard hitting on her would cause fights with her and Smich, she says. "Mark would get angry at you instead of getting angry at Dell," Dungey says.
by Adam Carter 10:56 AM

Meneses says Millard enjoyed seeing the two of them fight.

WHAT a freaking PIG!!!

Peter Pan in some more recent portrayals (ie: Once Upon a Time) is a very sinister character indeed......more like the Pied Piper with a crew of thieves....I don't think the original reference was in any way dismissing DM's actions.....MOO

"I don't want my boyfriend's best friend hitting on me. It was disrespectful to Mark." It would cause fights with #Smich, who got mad at her

Getting mad at her????? She did NOTHING!!!!!!

#Smich & Meneses were fixing the basement because they planned to live there. In the end #Millard didn't allow them to live there.

Back to Meneses living at Riverside. Dell said she and Mark could live there if they fixed the downstairs apartment. But he broke promise.

So all that work renovating the basement, they didn't get any compensation, Dungey establishes.

Dungey now asking again about when Meneses was working and living at Millard's apartments at Riverside Drive.
by Adam Carter 11:38 AM

They were fixing up the apartments there with the expectation that Millard would let them stay there. "So you did all that work and got no benefit?" Dungey says. "Yeah," Meneses says.
by Adam Carter 11:39 AM

Meneses says she remembers hearing that Millard and co. wanted to steal some construction equipment.

I'm not quite sure how DM is maintaining his composure thru all of this. It must be testing his willpower to the max! IMHO, Dungey won't let MM off the stand until every one of DM's little secrets is revealed- hey, you never know, DM may jump up and object himself!! MOO
