Dungey is now showing her the photo of a gun. This was put in by Millard's counsel, he says. Was on Mark's blackberry. #Bosma

She says she's seen that photo before. Mark had showed it to her. "He told you where it came from didn't he," Dungey says. Yes, she says.

My only word for this woman is "malleable". JMO

I was thinking the same thing. Put a girl who is proven easy to be dominated and "controlled" by a self-confessed drug dealer, in front of a bully-type cross-examining lawyer and she is going to say "yes" to whatever he says. IMO he is leading her to say things that contradict what she said earlier as she clearly said "they burned him." The lawyer made her change that wording. IMO.

I take it as she is trying to be helpful, but some things she doesn't truly know. The judge did warn that she's not here to give opinion. I think she is trying to be a bit more helpful than she can be, but it's all coming out in the wash.

Ah that is right...but we haven't really been able to establish who this was...

By process of elimination I'd guess that was AM.

Since it is part of the Opening Statement, along with the mention of several letters, I expect we will hear plenty around this from LE, and possibly CN.

So hypothetically, if the plan was premeditated to steal a truck and kill the truck owner and MS was paid to be on this "mission", if MS pulled the trigger, does that make DM essentially someone who hired a hitman? Which is first degree murder isn't it?

All MOO, just a thought I had when seeing that MS was apparently supposed to be paid well to be on this "mission".

MOO it isn't terribly important, since I can't envision a scenario where either of them gets out of a life sentence, at this point.

The defense should be interesting.

I wonder what DM will be acting like when CN finally goes on the stand.

We should find out tomorrow. A lot of unanswered questions and expectation of answers landing on this final witness.

.

From the start I have been wanting to allow lots of leeway for MM in her testimony but gee wizz there is such a huge divide in it

Colin Butler ‏@ColinButlerCBC When he was arrested Smich told her not to say anything, but she told police everything she knew, Meneses says #TimBosma

Colin Butler ‏@ColinButlerCBC Meneses pushed Smich for information but he wouldn't budge. She agrees he often tried to protect her from things. #Bosma

--- she was arrested the same time as MS
--- she says she has not talked to him since
--- she says she told police everything she knew
--- she says she knew very little , only that they had gone to steal a truck and were successful
--- so how did she know DM shot Bosma and burned him ?

She has made so many contradictions I have a hard time believing anything she says.

The one MM is still friends with. Hopefully she is not being fooled again. Even AM claimed he didn't know many classy girls, and needed to ditch his date when DM called.

It does make me wonder about MM saying it was her idea to get the pound of pot from DM's. She didn't answer that with a "yes" or a "no", she added why she wanted it. While during AM's testimony he said MS called and ordered him to get the pot to him, and that he was angry. He even went as far as to acknowledge he was scared of MS. Maybe AM did get the memo?

Of course, it could be SS who CN was to convince. After all, DM did text that the knowledge of the GPS should remain among the three amigos, DM, MS, and SS. So SS was trusted with knowledge that others were not.

I am sure it will be revealed this week.

MM knew DM shot and burned TB because MS told her that DM shot and burned TB and he had nothing to do with it. She was a little grey on whether DM or DM and MS did the incinerating. But MS's story was that "Dell did it all".

And...a friend of mine asked me "Did they ask her, 'And is there a possibility MS lied to you?'" I don't think DM's lawyer asked that, did he?

We should find out tomorrow. A lot of unanswered questions and expectation of answers landing on this final witness.

I really don't think anything important is unanswered at this point. They're proved murder, and they've proved premeditation. CN could get hit by a bus this afternoon and it wouldn't really impact the crown's case. I think the most important thing she'll do is slam a couple more doors shut on DM, who is capable of spinning outrageous lies in his own defense.

Except it only came from AP and no one else.... From what I have seen, AP is quite the sensationalist.

I agree AP can be a bit sensationalist, however, she & Abro have the best view in the court gallery, of DM & MS's faces. I've been there & sat behind them in court...most of the other media people are seated on the opposite side of the courtroom, the other media people mostly see the backs of the accused unless the accused turns around. Perhaps when Abro joins this thread next, she can give her opinion about the look on DM's face...she & AP definitely have a good view from where they sit. MOO
