The story doesn't make sense. So the fictional friend drops them off for a test drive and heads to Tim Horton's. At this point it has been decided that DM and MS want to go on the test drive while fictional friend would rather have a coffee. But the plan would be for DM an MS to return to the field after the test drive. So who does the fact that fictional friend can't find Tim Horton's change things? Is he lonely? Scared? Why would he text DM and what would that change? Wouldn't fictional friend just go to the predetermined rendezvous point and wait for DM & MS to return?

Not that it matters because its a lie either way, just doesn't make sense is all.

I agree, which indicates to me if any of it is true, the dropping off of MS to pick up the Yukon was planned. And he knew the rest of the plan too.

"It was odd going for a test drive at night time in the first place" Smich on why he didn't question Millards actions. #Bosma #HamOnt

Yet CN stated that it wasn't unusual to be doing odd things with Dell Boy at all hours of the night. I'm finding it extremely hard to believe MS on this point....which makes me believe his whole story is nothing more than fiction. MOO

I wonder why DM would have 'five-fingered' some practice bullets for MS, and why he would have wanted 'Shaner' to build an incincerator if the intent was not to shoot the truck owner?

DM's defence theory that MS screwed up by shooting TB and that is why he didn't receive his supposed payment of the Caddy seems to forget that it seemed to be very much a part of DM's plan for getting his 3500?

The original post quoted AC'S tweets of, practice bullets, make plan to get truck to homemade incinerator.
My first thought is, this was all said/texted in May 2012 and my mind goes right to LB.

Yes the same Millard who lives and drives in filth. The guy who got a back hoe stuck and burned out the motor. The guy who came up with an idea (a lie) about a mobile pet incinerator. This is the guy Sachak is calling methodical and meticulous.

Fictional friend sits again in Yukon around the corner at Tim's because he couldn't find TH. DM wants the Yukon following the truck. Because fictional friend "has no license" :D MS has to get out of the truck and into the Yukon to follow the truck (but doesn't know why exactly because it wasn't the plan).

DM'S thoughts maybe:

1. I do want the truck - this evening! Time is running out. Maybe I'm in a thrill mood.
2. I'm ready to shoot if necessary.
3. My Yukon has to disappear and has to be moved along to the final goal.
4. My brother MS has to move the Yukon despite the risk he has no license.
5. My brother MS will be out of the truck. So I will not injure him when the shooting is going to happen MS doesn't know of.
6. My brother MS will slightly be shocked after the unexpected killing. But that doesn't matter, he will stand by me.

Since when didn't Millard like to have carpet in his vehicles? Seems like most of it was still in the Yukon.

I think it's the part of "test drive at night" was the odd part to MS. Normally people test drive vehicles in daylight.
The thefts all took place at night as well but CN didn't know nothing about thefts?

I believe MS in the sense he didn't know there would be murder and it was not part of the plan. I do think the plan was going to be a car jacking and MS would be following in the Yukon. If I was only there to scope and was asked to get out and follow I'd probably ask why wtf unless I was notified of a plan before head.

The problem gap is from when the Yukon was seen on the way to Bosma's (8:46 pm) and time the accused arrived in the Bosma driveway on foot (roughly 9:05). That's 19 minutes for a 2 minute drive and a 5-7 minute walk.

possibly waiting for it to get dark

I agreed with you at one point but there is obvious evidence of an effort to prepare the incinerator prior to the test drive. Carjacking doesn't fit.

Yes exactly right. Don't forget the same guy who had the brilliant plan to tamper with witness testimony and to put that plan in his own handwriting.

I think he called the day after, when someone came to his house with a missing poster of TB, IIRC.

Yes, that is correct, however it was stated that his statement was not given until much much later IIRC.

If I were MS I'd say, "that's right and I didn't have a firearms license either, so I must not have been able to shoot TB"

Yes, or in feigned shock, say, "yes, my gosh, can you IMAGINE DM doing something illegal?"

Question for all you legal scholars...WHY is it that MS's criminal history is fair game for NS to grill him on, in order to smear his character, but the fact DM is up on murder charges for TB and LB cannot be disclosed for the reason that the murder charge for TB must stand on it's own merritts?

You may argue that it's because the murder charges against DM for LB and his father are only charges and have not been tried in court yet....BUT, if that's the case, neither was MS convicted of auto theft...yet that is what NS was grilling him on.

Actually DM did have the carpet out of the Yukon, the yellow TJ and the Red Ram. You see the Ram floors and TJ floors in the FB BAJA pics. The evidence photos show the Yukon floors with no carpet.

Totally agree that the plan makes no sense, and that's part of why I believe what MS has said about what happened. Also, DM would not have paid MS with the 2 ounces of weed IF in fact, MS had screwed the robbery up by shooting the victim. DM made a spur of the moment decision, MOO. :moo:

It may not have been unusual for DM to do anything at any hour, however when you're bringing some unknown party into the equation, it would definitely be odd, by most peoples' standards.

I wonder if they are facing the prospect of some previously declared summer holiday plans from jurors or others relevant to the proceedings.

At the outset wasn't it stated that the trial would be between 4 and 5 months?
