Would you be a giant risk to move the body at the bobcat place. Its not a deserted country road.

I don't think at that time of night it would be well traveled. And there are no street lights. I think there are multiple details we may never really find out about. I supposed what CJ Princess is saying is that MS missed out on something like did DM leave TB in the front seat while driving?

This is still interesting to me:

"Jones agreed it could support a theory that a bullet came from the driver’s side, that a bullet came from the back seat, or even that bullets came from both."

Also, MS said that he has never "owned" a gun. MS was not asked if he had ever "used" a gun, but MS didn't add that he has never used a gun either. That is an important detail that was not addressed and I wonder why TD did not ask that question?
RSBM
I also wondered about the "I have never owned a gun". MS seems to have made statements in reply to questions that were not asked during TD's examination in chief. TD has carefully coached his witness, which is his job, however, I expect that the precariously floating SS Smich will begin taking on water fast once both DM's defense and the Crown get a chance to take him off script. TD is likely practicing his "objection" with an authoritative voice this weekend.

wasn't the fuel gage broken in his Yukon? Plus I'm sure some of the gasoline wasn't used for fueling up. Some seats and other materials were burned as well

if he knew fuel gauge was broken, all the more reason to fill tank before mission!!!!

Andrew Michalski was a very credible witness to everyone I've talked to who actually who saw him in court. Even though there has been nothing to suggest he was less than truthful, this doesn't appear to have come across on social media, where he is routinely accused of lying on the stand for no reason.

AM made it clear Mark Smich told him to get the box. He had no reason to lie or omit the fact that CN told him. It was clear from both his and CN's testimony there was no love lost between the two of them.

Yes, AM lied at the beginning of his police statement, but that is pretty common. Unlike MH, however, it did not take him four separate statements to get to the truth.

That said, I also think MH was truthful on the stand. He just didn't appear to own up to his bad behaviour in the same way that AM did.

The reason Dungey didn't go to town on AM is because he didn't have damning facts like he did with MH and SS.

Thanks Ann. This is so valuable. Here on WS, all we can do is speculate based on tweets and followup news summaries. We have seen how inconsistent different reporters tweets can be. Intent is accuracy but I am surprised the reporters tweets can keep up with the evidence. I have always wondered why our laws prevent an open court process from being live streamed for public consumption.

On AM's fb page
There are 2 pictures of AM's tattoo on Instagram. It's a sleeve tattoo. One picture is a girl with angel wings and it says "I remember"

The other part of that tattoo is a skull. With flames around it burning.

Coincidence?

Yes, and I don't think by the time he did that he's thought about burning the seats yet so wouldn't have gone for fuel for a fire IMO.

Did the generator run on gas?

Why do witnesses swear on the bible before testimony?? Clearly, they lie or twist the truth to their benefit when answering questions. In fact, it is common knowledge that TD coached MS prior to taking the stand and is clear in the answers given. Seems hypocritical to swear and take oath to tell the truth, then lie.

One problem with public consumption and even twitter. In a case, a witness is not allowed to sit in on other parts of the case lest they be tainted or whatever. But what would stop a witness-to-be from reading Twitter or watching a live broadcast. Then you get witnesses lining their stories up with each other. A no contact order also helps them stay separate. IMO

In my opinion, another coached issue given the victim was Christian as is much of the audience in attendance from what I've read. The witnesses have a choice of whether to oath on a bible or just oath to solemnly promise...

. But they still lie. CN certainly lied when she answered "I don't recall" to almost every question! There is no consequence to lying on stand. Why swear oath or on bible?

To us a CN type of quote--you'll have to ask her.

Some people have a conscience, morals, respect, and conviction. Others, I guess, don't.

MS keeps on with his Just to scope it out and come back later, Just to scope it out........
He knows he can't steal a truck with with a coded key. Chrysler built them so they would not start or run without the right key, no matter what.
I have one. I know.
Ms is lying and he knows it every time he says Just to scope it out.

He's been doing quite well since he's been jail. I for one think he should stay there.

I think his lawyer has pretty well guaranteed his time in stir won't be easy
by advising him to take the stand. Smich sound too much like snitch.

My thoughts anyway. Just MO.

Just remembered DM lawyers going through the video and mentioning TB truck went past it three times. Twice away from TB house and once back, they'll bring that up for sure to discount MS testimony that he was out of the car right away.

And, there's a second skull lower down. I prefer to live in a world where this is not LB, TB and WM. So if that turns out to be the case nobody come get me, K?

Yes I think it's one skull on one side one on the other. Never thought of it as being the three of them. Ugh

Thank you for your reply.

AM did not come across to me as a credible witness and it's not because I wasn't present when he testified, (although I'm sure being in court makes quite a big difference), it's because I do think AM could have had reasons to lie, one being that he himself had been charged with first degree murder and would have had great incentive to protect himself and put himself in a positive light and distance himself from anything that could have incriminated him, IMO. TD did go aboard of AM and emphasized the fact that AM lied in the first 60 pages of his statement. That may be common, but it too made me suspicious of AM.

I didn't get the idea that there was no love lost between CN and AM from either of the testimonies on the stand and I thought that both spoke very little of the other. Also the fact that MH said at the beginning of his testimony that his friendship with AM ended because of "lies told" has always made me wonder what those lies were.

You're right in what you say in another post later tonight, and I admit to being one of those people who is frustrated by not knowing the whole truth and I do find it difficult to accept that we likely will never know. As for witness credibility, I guess the jury will make up their minds about each one, but I do imagine that there will be differences of opinion among the jury just as there are here among us.

All MOO.

Disturbing on many levels. I had hoped this "event" would smarten him up. No girl wants to look at skulls! IMO

The bible means nothing to many people today, therefore swearing on it means nothing. I believe Karma will slap them soon.

I think in TB's trial the presence of the bible for swearing in witnesses means something to the Bosma family. Their Christian faith is often mentioned in MSM.

All MOO.
