He took the deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

indeed, quite a turn of events.

Did you IN FACT kill Nancy Cooper and dump her body? YES

  • #164
Oh great another wife murderer who will be walking the streets. GUILTY!!!!!! There you go....he admitted dumping her body on fielding drive. If he were truly innocent he wouldn't have taken the deal.

Who gives up their children??????

  • #166
The only reason he has the deal in the first place is through the grace of the Rentz family. It is their generosity that allows him this opportunity in the first place.

He would have been convicted in a future trial, and he KNOWS it. That's why he took the deal.

indeed, quite a turn of events.

It was the right thing to do if Brad ever wants to be out again....It's not the perfect solution but he did turn down a previous deal and he did trust in the system. It doesn't change anything, Nancy is dead and Brad will lose about 11-12 years of his life.
I am extremely pleased with the deal.
Going back to sleep.... :seeya:

Who gives up their children??????

A murdering coward who knows he's cornered and will do anything to get out someday. He didn't care about his children...they were objects to him. He's more than okay with giving them up.

His children will someday see that he ADMITTED to killing their mother. He admitted he dumped her body. It's in video forever.

I don't know how anyone who once supported him can begin to explain why he would take the deal if he had a great shot at the second trial and was honestly innocent? His first conviction was overturned......he was once again considered "innocent until proven guilty in a court of law". hmmmmm......makes you think! IMO

Well those of us here listened to all the testimony at trial and decided Brad Cooper was GUILTY. And now he admitted so in open court. Yes, he killed Nancy Cooper and dumped her body on Fielding Dr., the place he'd checked out on his computer. Given that the Rentz family has to travel from Calgary to the U.S. at their time and expense, this is the best thing for their family. Just mentioned 'new evidence that proves Brad manufactured that phone call.' Way to go prosecution.

Crazy people will spin anything to justify their delusions. Even Brad admitting to killing his wife and dumping her body and giving up custody of his kids is not enough to convince.

He gave up custody. Spin that!

TRENKLE was talking about the plea deal to Cummings.

NO RESPONSE from Kurtz at the time.

State doesn't know if Cooper was ever told by Kurtz.

  • #173
Even the judge just said giving up your children was replusing.......THAT SAYS IT ALL!!!!!

  • #174
Why wouldn't they give him back his phone and computer?

  • #175
Well that's that then. I didn't see Brad's parents in the feed.

It will be interesting to hear what the Rentz's have to say, and if they're satisfied, I see no reason to dwell on the issue that Brad got off lightly, as this was not second degree murder, it was clearly first degree.

The Rentz family are grace personified. This deal is totally okay with them as it is through their approval that he even has this chance. That murdering jerk created ripples of pain and deception, not only to his inlaws and Nancy's sisters & brother, but to his own children. Aided and abetted by his prior defense, the slime oozed forth and permeated. He was treated so much better by the family he hurt.

Now he's finally admitted it. He said YES he killed his wife and dumped her body.

Why wouldn't they give him back his phone and computer?

He's a convicted felon and will be in prison. He has no rights to that stuff.

So who gets the fun job of escorting Brad out of the country in 6-ish years? He was here on a work visa and Cisco dumped him.

Convicted felons have no right to their personal property?? Since when?

Yup, I didn't notice any large group of 'brad is innocent' people showing up for this hearing. Nor did I see Brad's family coming on down to hear him admit to murdering his wife and dumping her body on Fielding Drive. Since this group is basically interested in the victims of crime, I'm somewhat surprised at those who lose interest once a murderer admits his guilt. Nancy Cooper is still dead and left lying naked in a dirty ditch, her children now motherless, also victims. Her parents and siblings broken hearted. None of this is a game or betting match. Most of us are here for the victims. Hopefully technology will have passed brad by while he is incarcerated, and what company will want to hire a wife-killer when he does get out?
