It's very hard to understand. From what I understand yes he did from the body cam. It looks like the woman is fully dressed with a hood and the male, who is the home owner and called 911, is in his underwear as he was in sleep mode, and they are struggling with a knife - he looks to me like he is pushing it away from both of them so she can't use it. He was shot in the head 2 seconds after being told to drop the knife but likely they couldn't comply if she had a grip on it. They both fell to the ground after that. And then 5 more shots were fired by the officer. Why?!?! Why shoot right away when no one was threatening you? Why not assess the situation and figure out what is happening? And why think the assailant was not the one who fit the description given?!
I can't see how this officer will not be charged.

Ok here is the deal with this footage from LVMPD you tube site. Slow the video down to 0.25 speed start at 6.29min mark you can see the suspect pulls out a ballistic shield that is tucked into his jacket. When the officer fires the first round which hit Brandon the homeowner in the head. If you look very closely with it slowed down to 0.25 speed you see the suspect pull the ballistic shield out with his left hand, and then the officer fires the other 5 rounds at Brandon Durham. Check it out guys!! it is there I turned the sound off because it is distracting. Watch it several times you will see it in slow motion. It is very strange!! Were they working together the officer and suspect????

The whole incident is off, something is up. Any video analysis professionals on here this looks like a murder!!

Everyone slow the video down 0.25 speed watch the suspect and Brandon fall (sound off) you will see the suspects pulls the shield out and the police are changing the story every day. BTW the suspect was booked into the county Jail as a male and they keep saying she. The correct verbiage would be a male ty hat identifies as a female. But Las Vegas Metro wants to wash the story into believing its a domestic altercation. Very strange. The family has retained Lee Merritt attorney.

Wow, it was late last night when I posted about this case. I had not seen the body cam footage, just read a couple of news stories.

After watching, I am SHOCKED at how the officer reacted. He said drop the knife ONCE and shot Brandon in the head as he said it the second time, then the shots that followed - I have no words.

Just speaking from a rational thought process - wouldn't you guess the man in his underwear was the homeowner who called 911 for help? The person in the hoody with a jacket on was the intruder? For God's sake - he could have taken one minute to see if they responded to his voice commands, which would have also help him judge who the assailant was. If not, he could have shot at the lower extremity. Not immediately take a head shot!!
