I may have missed the handlebar issue...were there reports that they were removed? I remember something about the gold handlebar grips, but I don't recall in regards to what. I assume to remove the handlebars he would have to also remove the handbrakes. Guess I can't imagine why BSL would remove them. Now, one report I got was that the fisherman who found the bike picked it up and returned to his camp with it intending to scrap it.. Once there, some family member advised him that it might be Mickey's bike. They advised SMSO who contacted LPD. I have not seen this verified or reported by LE.....
Oops, I meant handlebar grips. They were found the same time as the bike and Mr. Shunick was surprised that they were removed because he and his son had tried to remove them previously and could not.
