Several times WS members said there is usually some truth to the stories told by liars. So....IMO If money was mentioned, it was for her services because he could not score with the 24 escort services he called that night.

I have thought about that too. It would seem he had money on him since he had been calling escort services to no avail.

I agree. I also think that he more thN likely held his knife up to her throat the same as he had done to his victim that caused him to serve time. I suspect that during his assaulting Mickey she was able to mace him and that during that she was also able to grab his knife. She probably looked him straight in the eyes when she stabbed him good.
I sure as heck do not believe his account of what occurred.

He probably did mention something like... she better do something to him if she wants that much money for her bike! No telling what really occurred. Its just strange that we never learned about his where abouts from his girlfriend. Like if she spent time with him earlier that day. What was his mood like that day? Did she and him have any arguments?

I have been wondering if maybe he went nuts while on a 'date' with an escort, and maybe he attempted to hurt one of them or threatened them or something. I bet they have a list of men that are not supposed to be alone with the girls anymore.

Just jumping off your post. If he was just drinking and driving and happened to accidentally run into Mickey, then why would he have a knife AND a gun near by to use so quickly when she maced him? Lies. If he was so drunk to run into someone then this is more evidence Mickey would not have gotten into the truck voluntarily, she was a smart girl. So again, lies.

I agree with everything you just said.
I wonder if any of the escorts will ever let us know what he expected on a "date" and if he exhibited violence. It would be interesting to know if he was known and blacklisted. I'll bet you're right.

I googled escort services in Lafayette,LA and oh my goodness there are a lot that make themselves sound like call girls. I think they are playing with fire. There is a fine line between selling companionship and the possibility of sex, than the selling of just sex itself!

i don't think Mickey would ever try to negotiate on the streets any price for her bike. Remember her parents said she was a little firecracker. She would have been PISSED. Someone just hit her with a truck. She was probably hurting. She was probably scared. It's in the middle of the night. The first thing I would do would be to try to call 911 immediately. I would not be concerned about my bike, I would be concerned about ME. So I don't believe this money crap for one second. Also, it seemed to me, but I could be wrong, that the Shunick family didn't lack in money severely, so I don't think money for a bike would be that big of a deal. So this whole thing is a bunch of BS to me. It's something made up by a criminal who's first thought is money. Not Mickey's first thought IMO.

The idea that there was ANY discussion about paying for her bike is absurd. Like you're going to be riding your bike, get hit by a vehicle, GET ABDUCTED into that vehicle, and demand money for your bike?! Riiiight. She may well have been knocked out when he snatched her. All I'm sure of is that the moment she was abducted or conscious, she fought that monster with everything she had.

He is a lying sack of sh** serial killer and con man. He spent his previous time in prison filing appeals. Once he was out he was trying to get his sex offender status removed. That takes some real gall. He gave that BS story hoping, like he always has, that it would mitigate what was in store for him because he's a manipulator who thinks he can con his way though life.
