If it was his child then the video is from 1993, or 1994
I saw a video on Fox a few moments ago, that said it was 1987. Part of the video he was playing a guitar at a friends wedding. The rest of it was another scene of him clowing around with a pair of gym shorts (he was holding them up in front of his face clowning)

My immediate thoughts were that he showed a lot more affect in those videos than we have seen from him in recent media shots.

Karr's children are 13, 14 and 15 (possibly 16) at this time, so in 1996 they were 3,4, and 5. John Mark Karr II had a myspace profile that everyone keyed on immediately. Poor kids, can you imagine what they must be going through at this time.

He is going to be in court tomorrow in CA around 8:30 a.m. I think this is an extradition hearing, kids loud can't really hear.

Karr will appear in court in LA tomorrow to say if he's fighting extradition.

Not too much of a stretch for him, actually.

I bet he won't fight it. He can't wait to get to Boulder and I can't wait for him to.

Karr is now being held in the state he fled in 2001 after being charged with five counts of misdemeanor child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. A bench warrant was issued after he disappeared.

Legal analysts say a court hearing is expected to determine whether Karr will waive extradition to Colorado.

??????If Karr waives extradition he could be transported within the next ten days. If he does not waive extradition it could take 30 to 90 days to transport him to Colorado.??????

The Sonoma County District Attorney said publicly Friday that the misdemeanor child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 case against Karr would be put on hold while Colorado authorities pursue the Ramsey case. However, district attorneys in California and Colorado still have to officially determine which case has priority.

Karr will eventually be transported to Colorado by the Boulder County Sheriff's Department.

If he fights extradition does the Colorado DA have to show a California Judge validity of the warrent or charges?

Even if the stations are wrong about the year, it wasn't Christmas. That is very important. LOL :woohoo:

Why would the NE buy a clip of footage that proved nothing? I bet they bought more than just this one. Do you think they would put out an '87 clip and then one from '86?

God bless those children of his. At least I heard the mother is very nice, although that was from her attorney.

Jean Cezarez (I know I didn't spell that right) on Court TV said that the CA warrants now have been DISMISSED. Said she thought that was significant.

One thing's for sure, CO is either going to have to "put up or shut up".

Probe of Karr didn't really take off until after arrest

Basic steps in the investigation that could tie John Mark Karr to the 1996 murder of JonBenet Ramsey didn't begin in earnest until after his arrest in Thailand on Wednesday, a Denver Post investigation has shown. Though the Boulder County district attorney's office had enough evidence to obtain an arrest warrant for Karr for first-degree murder, it was only after the warrant was issued that investigators started asking questions that would form the basis of a successful homicide prosecution, experts say.

For example, it wasn't until Wednesday morning, after Karr was in Thai custody, that a representative of Boulder District Atty. Mary Lacy's office called Hamilton County, Ala., schools to seek a handwriting sample of Karr for comparison with the ransom note left by JonBenet's killer.

Similarly, as of Friday, Lacy's office had not contacted the Colorado Bureau of Investigation to compare anything from Karr--DNA, handwriting or even shoe size--to the evidence found at the murder scene. Nor did the district attorney's office consult with education officials in Colorado or California to see if they could track Karr's teaching history.

Karr's ex-wife and children also weren't contacted to see if they could provide an alibi for Karr's whereabouts at the time of JonBenet's murder. Karr's former wife has told a San Francisco television station that she is sure he spent Christmas 1996 with her and the family. JonBenet was killed the day after Christmas that year.

Likewise, the spokesman for the Sonoma County, Calif., sheriff's department, which has had a fugitive warrant since 2001 seeking Karr's arrest on five counts of misdemeanor possession of child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬, said the department was unaware of Karr's connection to the Ramsey case until after he was in Thai custody.

At a news conference Thursday, Lacy indicated that "exigent circumstances" forced the arrest of Karr to occur before she would have preferred.

waive, deferred, dismissed not the same.

I think she was thinking it "significant" along the lines of "the DA MUST have something". 'Cause if Lacy has nothing to link him to Boulder on 12/25/96, if the CA warrants have been DISMISSED, there's nothing to hold him on, correct?

This article is complete and total hogwash. The DA's office and investigators have been busy at work for MONTHS trying to hook this guy in. They had whatever they needed--whatever it was--to arrest the guy.

So that tells me that something he had or said (I heard it was one word) put him at the crime scene in one form or another. That could be physically or it could be by proxy meaning that someone he knows was there. You don't just guess specific crime scene evidence.

What kills me is that so many of you are poo-pooing this guy already and you haven't heard one shred of the evidence against him. "Duh, it wusn't being tawked about on Websleuths so it kayn't be true". Come on folks, have some faith and some freaking patience.

Perhaps the DA knows that this Karr guy is a whackjob that wansn't in Colorado but the evidence he put forth to this Co. professor was so damning that they know whoever told him WAS in the room with JBR.

I think this will either break the case wide open or damn it for good.

And just now on MSNBC Chris, the hostess stated that Karr went into the Ramsey home when they were having a Christmas party, which she said in essence makes this a bogus report because their Christmas party was 3 days before that!

How irresponsible for her to not make sure that fact is correct. It was an open house, not a Christmas party as stated by Karr to this lady from Ca. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
