Breaking news in the LISK case

I have said there might be a construction connection. The construction on the biridges has been going on since the mid 90s. It brought in workers from all over the place. Construction is usually increased in the summer and decreased in the winter for obvious reasons. On top of the bridge has views of the burail ground and is a great place to watch "a body rot" I also know alot of crap has fallen offof those bridges. Tools, machines and the like.....Ive always wondered if a murder weapon was in the mix.

But this theory was quickly dismissed as it does not fit into the common beliefs on this site. I think the underlying motives that some of the people here have are questionable themselves. Not to mention you have to make everyone out to be a hero. The cops are heros, the hookers are heros, the draw bridge operator is a hero. Its getting old to me, and my time on this website is finite. I do not jive with the culture that has evolved here in the past 6 months.

OK. I thought it was a pretty good idea. It coincides nice with the schedule the killer liked to keep, and a construction vehicle probably wouldnt be given a second look if pulled over on the side of the road.

Exactly, Construction, Highway Worker, Animal Control none would look suspicious by the side of the road...at any time of day or night.

I still think construction rather as in dry wall, carpenter work, maybe a little general concrete or asphalt work, but more landscaping work. As I said two years ago (profile is still on my website), the time frame makes me think of someone who is there through the building season and during winter is under way south and southwest because there is building activity over the winter.

I spoke to the author of Confessions of An Oak Beach Drifter by phone the other nite. Eventually Ill probly write a longer piece but I'm a lil busy right now and wanted to get this out.

According to this person, he stopped living in Oak Beach in November of 2009, nearly six months before May of 2010. He's upset and dismayed that the police were told he was there that night. And he's suspicious that maybe this was fabricated by “Damon” inorder to throw police off. But see he also says that the police went through that house with a fine tooth comb after finding the GB4. And during that search the police expressed interest in his Living Dead dolls that he had left behind. And so, in my mind for all we know, maybe this is why his name came up in the police report and from there it some how got twisted into saying he was there. Or maybe there's something more to it.

Some other odds and ends that were mentioned was that he says he has never been questioned by police. He confirms to me that he did have quite a few blackouts during his stay in Oak Beach but he "doesn't really think he's capable of being a serial killer." He says the basement of the beach house really did smell like something had died. It was a creepy basement, he says, with a staircase and cobbwebs and a cement floor but he didn't spend enough time down there to see what kind of stuff was kept there.

Wait...Damon=Damien...as in Glonek, the creator of the dolls.

Good grief! :floorlaugh:

Very nice. I was thinking Damon spelled backwards is nomad - another word for drifter lmaoo. But that's interesting. Guess we've just entered the drifter's sub conscious. Good grief is right!!!!

Let me see if I understand this part... the author of the book collected Living Dead dolls and left them at JBs house? Oh, and if you could tell me... what is the author's approximate age?

I never even thought of "nomad".

Methinks someone has a very creative imagination. ;)

I believe he said 50

FN's that is incredible! You are "The shyt!" (That's a good thing ; ) How in the world did you track him down? I was struck by his comment that he really doesn't think he's capable of being a serial killer! WHO SAYS THAT!

Plus he collects living dead dolls?!?

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Living_Dead_Dolls

I had no idea what they were so I looked it up here's a link for those who don't know what they are.
That's plain creepy!

Well, that's what he says, anyway.

True. I've said from the start that I think this writer is the drifter because anyone impersonating him would be subject to mucho grande lawsuits. As we know, the term "drifter" is just off-base - this was a guy from West Islip who had lived there (in the area, not at JB's) for some time; I'm sure there must be 100 people who know who the guy is because JB has told them. We'll know soon, too, I'll bet.
