The suspect is described as a heavy-set white male about 30 to 40 years old. He has some facial hair and was wearing a Raider’s t-shirt.The suspect vehicle is a dark, single cab truck with cloth seats and an after-market CD player with blue and red lights. It is described as an older truck.

“The victim stated that her keys to her vehicle and residence were taken and that subject may have been prowling in the area days prior to this happening,” according to police.

I don't recall reading in the recent reports that the suspect had taken the woman's keys. I guess that's how he got back into her house during the attempted burglary the weekend Brianna disappeared.

I think this guy has been "sick" for a long time. There may be a catalyst to his most recent behavior, but this has been building for a while. It seems like most of these perps have a history of internal emotional and/or mental problems that, in some cases, have been below the radar.

I agree. I think this guy is way under the radar, and appears very very normal. Of course I could be wrong.

Within days numerous government agencies joined the search effort with agents from the FBI also loaning their assistance to discover any leads to the where-abouts of a much loved and popular teen.

Oh, Thank you, Newshound!! I looked looked for this last night!! I knew I had seen it somewhere and thought I posted it here earlier, but I could not find it!

The Raider's logo is what caught my eye on that guy's myspace space because of this report and the mention of the older truck (He had an old Sierra) that his wife was working on...seems she might be the mechanic of the family.

I figure that it could be a trigger in several ways. Maybe, there is a lack of sex. Plus, his wife could be very busy with the baby. Also, he could resent that the baby is getting all of her attention. He is resentful and lashing out at "other" women.

Yes, I think it is because of their crime lab work and various tools at their disposal which local LEs don't have access to. They have to be "invited" into an investigation if there are no other reasons such as an abduction across state lines etc.

I've been thinking alot about the December attack. The way it has all been reported makes it sound like the perp sneaked up on the victim, rather than pulled up next to her in a vehicle and got out to "grab her from behind". When the victim awoke, she was in his truck.

I think that's a very important detail. It seems quite obvious that he was on foot when attacking the woman, so he must have had his truck close by. I think he was either stalking this woman, or scavenging the area for an easy victim. Either way, I think this makes it pretty clear this man was in this area for the purpose of the crime. That fits right in with him working or living or having another strong tie to the area.

Also, has anyone considered that the baby shoe was not for his child, or a friend or family members child, but was perhaps something left behind by another victim??? Doubtful that he attacked a child, but possibly a young mother with her child (would be easy to gain control when a woman is worried about her child).

I hope that tip is sent in by someone. This guy seems to fit the bill, to me. He is a partier, even though he has kids and is supposed to be a family man. IMO, he misses his youth and probably hangs out with a younger crowd. In fact, one of his photos mentions about "going back in time to his younger days." His wife just had a baby. When did she have the baby, in relation to when Bree was taken? The wife had the baby sometime in January. They have a truck. He has facial hair (goatee).

There are several pictures of this bare chested, and he has a lot of hair on his chest, and legs, but very little or none right at the line of his swim trunks or underwear. I bet he 'shaves', because he doesn't appear to have a "landing strip". I agree that this needs to be forwarded to LE. Has anyone done so??? If not, I will be happy to send it via the secretwitness site.

I agree, StillHoping. In fact I cannot get past it. He attacked most likely 3 times within blocks of each other, and this usually means that the person has close ties to a very specific area. This would be opposed to the attacks/attempted attacks or break ins occurring within 2 miles of each other. But, all three were within blocks of each other.

I found the guy's name because his wife put the baby's full name on a friend's myspace page. It should make it easy for LE to track him down at least. : )
