As "messy" as the truck was (with a shoe and papers on the floor) it would seem to me that it's someone's (although not necessarily the perp's) personal vehicle. It's possible that he worked for a garage or shop I suppose and stole/borrowed a customer's truck for this "act" but who knows.

What if it wasn't his vehicle? What if he worked at a station and had the keys to vehicles there that belonged to co-workers and just took that one that night. What if the truck/SUV is just sitting in a lot somewhere close by? I agree he works close by...and lives further away. He peruses this area quite frequently. He works during the day...and trolls at night...just some random thoughts....

I think I heard this morning on Fox News that the one attack happened in his truck. In fact they reported that this was why she had such a good description of the inside of the truck.

Brianna has a website now.

http://www.briannadenison.com/

ETA: lots of photos of Brianna I hadn't seen before. My favorite is the one of her laughing. What a cutie.

Her middle name is Zunino... what a cool middle name. Poor thing. :(

The truck may have been messy inside, but it wasn't described as such, was it? I recall hearing about papers with typing and a baby shoe, but if that was all that stood out than it doesn't sound like it was necessarily messy. Too bad she couldn't get a look at what was typed on the papers.

can i see the myspace link - i don't know how to pm?

I found the guy's name because his wife put the baby's full name on a friend's myspace page. It should make it easy for LE to track him down at least. : )

Yer such the sleuth!

Yes, the attack from Dec. 16th did happen in the truck. For some reason, I thought she was talking about the attack before.

I hope they went thru all the sounds she could recall about that "undisclosed location", how long she estimated it took to get there, the times he stopped, etc. Surely they did tho.

I also wonder how long her attack lasted from the time he took her until the time she returned. This would be critical in determining the location.

I'm not sure about you, but my vehicle doesn't have random things like papers and shoes on the floorboard - if it did I would think that it would be a little messy or out of the ordinary. I wasn't meaning it was a total pigsty, just that there were personal effects inside the vehicle. My bigger point was that to me it sounded like this truck is someone's personal vehicle, whether it be the perps or someone else's (as opposed to a company vehicle or a rental). It's great that the victim was able to give so many clues so hopefully someone will recognize it.

Lionrun..she could have gotten a look at what was on the papers and the reason I would recommend she undergo hypnosis. It can draw out details such as that.

I agree, StillHoping. In fact I cannot get past it. He attacked most likely 3 times within blocks of each other, and this usually means that the person has close ties to a very specific area. This would be opposed to the attacks/attempted attacks or break ins occurring within 2 miles of each other. But, all three were within blocks of each other.

Yes Lion, I think the proximity of attacks is an extremely important detail in this case. There is a significant reason for him doing this, because realistically, it was "dangerous" for him to keep attacking in the same area, so close together in both distance and timing. With reports going out on previous attacks and safety issues, most criminals would either lay low or switch locations.

While the reports are now stating the perp was in his 30's, I'm still feeling late teens or more likely early to mid 20's. The clothing is SO popular among that age range, he would not particularly stand out in the early AM hours as it is a college area, he shaves down there which isn't limited to but is more popular with the college age crowd. The hair on his chin was not course, which also points to a younger man. I also feel that this is a serial killer in the making, which IMO is more likely a younger guy. I think someone in his 30's would be more advanced violently in his attacks, and would probably switch up his location more often. I think we are dealing with someone who "flipped a switch" recently, so to speak, as he seems to be escalating with frightening speed.

Does anyone know if there have been alot of animal mutilations or anything of that sort in the area in the past few months or year????
Many killers start out that way.

Ah, I get it, aj:). ITA that the victim gave excellent info to LE despite the trauma she had been through. That she couldn't read actual words on those papers is completely understandable, and I didn't mean anything by it. She may have been at a bad angle, too far away to read the words, or too busy struggling for her own safety. I bet she would have if he could have. She got a darn good description of the inside of the truck, the cd player, the perp's structure, and more.

There is a bar located not far from from the other victim's apartment. Zephyr Lounge, 1074 S. Virginia St. (Her address was 1400 block of Virginia St.)

Ah, this brings to mind two other important details that they reported on Fox News. It was reported that the perp drove just a short distance and that she could tell that it was up an incline.

Again, that he took her only a short distance further indicates that he has strong ties to a very territorially small area. Gosh, for some reason everything for me seems to come back to that very small area range. The only thing is that they didn't state in the report how, "short" the distance from between where he attacked her home was.

SS she might have been unconscious for much/all of the trip to wherever.

I wonder if he panicked and thought he'd killed her?

SS, excellent work, you missed your calling!
Maybe not...I am thinking we should set up a real PI service called WSI. (Websleuths International) and work cases together.

I imagine this has been covered, but that he broke in and abducted Brianna indicates he was watching her. He may have only seen her that night as he trolled for his next victim. But, nonetheless he may have scoped her out. This would be as opposed to driving along a road and abducting someone from their disabled vehicle on the side of the road. No doubt he would do that, too if he was, "needing" to attack again and found a woman near a disabled vehicle on the side of the road.

But, it seems he scopes out his victims at least in the case of Brianna. We just don't know for how long he stalks before he attacks. Brianna may have only been in the apartment for a short time, but for all we know his original intended target may have been the other young lady in the apartment.

You may be correct that he is college age. I still think we are talking about someone in their early 30s. In many cases, the person's emotional age is much younger that their physical age.

I still think that he has had this pattern for years and that he continues to cross boundries as he futher detaches from reality and into insanity. He very well may become a seriel killer if not caught.

If the "heat" stays on him, he will become more desperate and either run, go further insane and attack again soon, try to detach from his insanity and live "normaly" (temporary), or kill himself.

I say keep the heat on, he is most likely trying to CYA and blend back into a "normal" life. Someone that knows him will put the pieces together.
