I am not sure how to feel about Clint being so loyal to Billie; I guess it depends upon the end result. If it turns out she innocent, but just a very bad example of a mother, I guess he is to be respected, in a way, for refusing to believe she would harm Hailey. But if Hailey had not lived in a house where SA, porn and drugs were welcomed by Billie, she might still be accounted for. And Clint had to at least know about the drugs. Too bad at least one of her parents could not have stayed clean in order to provide a safe haven.
