Oh I agree with you about the cheating being the deal breaker. But if that is what it took for her to see the light, whatever! I just wanted her to see the light, kwim?

Up until the images/cheating, she didn't want to, or just didn't believe that he WAS that type of person. JMO

Billie maybe has to see proof herself before she believes anything. So it looks as if LE showed her images of SA with other woman? Or she still wouldnt know? Or she know about the one in the past already and LE showed her more? Or she found out some other way?
Can anyone clear this up for me?

I have not listened to the blog yet as they always come on when it is time for me to do my mommy duties. Hard to work arround a 6 to 8 time frame when homework ,dinner, baths and family time goes into that slot. I will listen but I always get behind on these things.

When I listened to it, and I really don't know how to say it but it really stood out to me that she seemed to almost be jealous that other people would be so interested in her Hailey. She said (paraphrasing) that she understood that other people should care and be interested in missing kids, but Hailey was her daughter.
I just don't get it. It just struck me that she wants to be honored and cash in for being HD mom, but from what I've seen she didn't honor her daughter while she had her. When asked what Hailey was like, she repeatedly mentioned things they liked to do together. "Hailey liked making people laugh. So do I." "Six Flags, that was our thing." Hailey was LOUD. Hailey was "a blast to be around". I kept waiting to hear some anecdote about cute things Hailey did, or what Hailey liked/loved, etc.

"What would you do if you found out Shawn had hurt Hailey?"

"How could you do this to ME, when you profess to have all this love for me?"

"What do you say to the person who took Hailey?"

"You're sick. How dare you take MY baby. She's MINE. God gave her to ME."

Billie is a textbook example of self-absorption, IMO.

All I can say is three words: Her. Dresser. Drawer.

She is really something else.

ALL the furniture was hers! It was her house, it was furnished, and Shawn moved in with his "stuff" but didn't really OWN furniture. She has said it was "his dresser" and I assume she means that although she was the owner of the dresser, it was his to use, and its contents were his.

She still had PLENTY of outrage over the issue of SA's cheating and the other woman who is posting all over the net!

She learned of the days before she actually saw it and the "cheating" pics. But she hadn't even considered the possibility of the cheating during the 3 additional days she had to mull over the possibility there was evidence of child sex crimes or bestiality.

It sounds like she went to the PD, and they said, go home and we will send an officer out to take a full report. JMO but I believe that is when they asked her what she was wearing, and she in turn asked SA.

I thought she meant that it was understandable that people in general should be concerned with missing kids... ALL missing kids, but Hailey is her daughter, and so her focus is not on ALL the missing kids right now, just Hailey.

That's ok Velouria lol I know I am in the minority here, and that's ok, I respect everyone's opinion, and I really do try to be open minded, and read what everyone says, and sometimes it does make me think differently. And because of that, I really have been a fence sitter in regards to BD, but I now truly believe that BD had nothing to do with Haileys disappearance, I don't think she had any idea about the child , etc.

Everyone keeps saying she was outraged about the other woman/women, but I just didn't hear it that way at all. I think she did say that she knew about the one woman, and if she wanted him ... have at it! I think what the 'other women' did, was show BD that SA is NOT who she thought he was, and the person she has been defending for the last 2 months. And now, because he is not who she thought he was, she is starting to see what we have all seen for 2 months.

May be a minority, but a GROWING minority! For a long time I thought I was REALLY stupid, but I just COULDN'T believe Billie did anything to Hailey. Or had anything to do with freaky-. She was sort of cute saying "You know, sexy "I'm your girlfriend" pictures"" like she was sort of embarrassed that people knew, and having to talk about it (actually this was the second time she answered the same question and didn't want to be too graphic. She ALSO made it clear that (to her) they were taken in the context of a BF/GF relationship. LOTS of women do this for their boyfriends. Apparently lots of women also did this for SHAWN.
I think she figured that as long as he had not hurt Hailey, and had a really good explanation for the , she saw no reason to break up with a guy who had improved her quality of life and treated her well. She still had the "us against them" mentality. I am sure the police knew that the photos of the "other women" were just exactly that, either because they knew some of them, or because of the image quality and specifically used those images to break through to Billie.
I think she found this out the day she was supposed to be interviewed but cancelled. I am sure she really needed more time to process this, figure out what she could and could not say, and what she NEEDED to say before she spoke publicly again. And I suspect that the speculation that Clint was "briefed" while incarcerated is correct. I think he knew before Billie that some of the images on the flash drive were going to be very painful for her (although not evidence of anyone harming Hailey) and that this could be the reason for his "soft" response to the discovery of the . He didn't want to attack Billie, but at that point, no evidence had been released to indicate that she was a victim in her own right, and he knew she would be speaking with LE in the next few days and that it would shake her faith.
I am THRILLED she sounded eager to take a legit poly. The sooner the better, if you ask me.

When my Uncle was discovered to be raping his stepson and a few friends... someone had to identify the kids in the pictures. So even though they were part of an ongoing investigation LE did have to show the pictures to a family member for identification. Which promptly caused my Uncle to kill himself. But, LE had what they needed.

I would be surprised if Billie was shown very many... but it wouldn't surprise me too much if she was shown a few. To see if any locations jumped out at her for example. If LE is thinking any of the pictures are homemade... they need to ID those, immediately.

They also probably would like to get her over defending SA if THEY believe she is innocent. In that case, I can see them showing her a few to convince her.

Maybe that would explain the random question during the interview about who has a 'cellar'?????

Here's what I find interesting. When she was asked about Hailey having difficulty breathing, she says no but never asks why that question was asked. If it were me and I knew nothing, I would have asked why are you asking me this question.

I think she realized this was a one-way interview. She couldn't really ask any questions, and if she had tried, she'd have looked like she was being difficult. By just answering again and again about the owner of the PC, the breathing problem and the sort of photos of her on the flash drive, she showed she was being cooperative. The only thing she was unwilling to do was throw CW under the bus by naming her as the computer's owner since, as she said, she did not believe SHE had been looking at that stuff.

She answered some uncomfortable questions last night, and was more emotional than usual. I liked the way she TRIED to avoid saying anything negative about Hailey when put on the spot, but finally acknowledged "She's nosy, so what?" in a sort of annoyed voice. What 13 y.o. ISN'T nosy? I feel she did very well. And I still think the breathing questions either were a result of someone's "psychic" impression of suffocation, or on a rumor of some sort that hasn't been passed around WS. It seemed more than one person was asking about that, but I could not get into the chat to see.

I'm just not seeing that Billie changed her feelings toward SA for any reason other than he cheated on her. That is what it took...not LE telling her he was a suspect, and not even learning about the , in my opinion, as I believe she knew he was into and they may have enjoyed some of it together...this was all about his cheating. That is what makes her furious (and hopefully, if she knows anything, vindictive.)

He was telling her that LE was exaggerating, I am sure. Since she was up to her eyeballs in it with him at that point, I suspect he never thought LE would show it to her. When they did, that probably COULD have been the breaking point... but the cheating sealed the deal.

I think what she actually said she had to ask Shawn what Hailey had had on Monday AFTER the police asked HER on Tuesday. She did not know until she checked with Shawn who only knew it was jeans or track pants (I knew I had heard jeans before!) and a light blue (never did "blue" show up on the missing posters) tshirt, but had no clue what shoes or sweater she might have had.
