What I'm looking for now again is what DD said and what BD said,one of the different things she said about Hailey playing the xbox.
I know DD said Hailey was playing one of his video games in the living room. Based on the progress of the game, and Hailey’s skill level with the game,he believed she played the game until approximately midnight.Oh,he said he left at 9pm,but BD stated one time it was around 8pm.

Okay,in her press conference Jan 31st she said...
DD says he left at 9 o’clock at night. I was saying he left at six or seven. That’s the inconsistencies.
Shawn and I were watching TV in our bedroom. Hailey was playing a Xbox game in DD’s bedroom. Around 10 o’clock I saw that Hailey was in her room watching TV. I told her ‘good night’, and then I went to bed.

So she's dropped it back from her 8pm on NG's to 6 or 7 at the press conference and stating Hailey was in David's room.

That statement - right there. It was in the affidavit. I questioned it from the day they released them. It is a very odd statement to put in a probable cause affidavit. It really has no bearing on the rest of the paragraph. SO, there MUST BE a REASON LE included it.

I, too, believe the XBox played a part in this crime. AND IMHO so does LE and the FBI!

Yeah I wanted to look the different stories back up in light of SA saying there's a second Xbox.I feel it plays a really big part,also,maybe because of the memory stick or cd.
So if she did go into DD's room to play after he left,then she was playing the newer one.IMO

BTW - I'm not calling you crazy. You are right. That was mentioned very early in the investigation, if fact, probably back in the 1st or 2nd general threads for this case. Who said it though? Did the info come from MSM or from CZ, BD's friend who was posting at the time?

I'm not sure if this is valid msm but I did find this.

Officials picked up a car from the Dunn residence on 1804 Chestnut for further investigation, as well as an X-box to help solidify the timeline of events.

i have only just got in from work so i apologise if this has already been asked, but my thoughts on the xbox is as follows - DD got new one for xmas. old one given to SA, as said on his BTHN interview. did the police take the new one, but as its only a few days old there's not much evidence to go through in the stored memory? im not sure how xboxes work so much as i have a wii, but with the wii it stores game info in the remote (control pad thingy) which means i could go to my friends house and play against them on a game at the level i was at at home with my stored characters etc. they judged haileys time playing by her level and skill on the game so if they got a new xbox then they would have to have moved game info onto it from the old one via a memory card maybe? or usb stick? maybe she borrowed one off of SA and found something??? also, SA lived at the family home not at his mums, so if they gave him the old xbox why would it not be in the same house ie. DD's in his bedroom and old one in living room or somewhere? i cant imagine that he lived with BD but went back to his moms to play xbox...so did he get rid of it before the search of the house? if its true what he said then where is the second xbox?

Am I missing something? I don't see how that quote is bad at all? She's saying her life went to crap because of daughter going missing. I am sure anyone's life would go to crap if their child went missing.

I snipped the Above portion that I believe that some are offended by. IMO we see Billie time after time "mis-speak" or "miss-word" alot of the things that she says especially where Hailey is concerned and this is just another example of that. Bille says, "... Before Hailey went and disappeared..." she then follows it up by re-wording the same thought more appropriately.

It's those continual "slip of the tongues" that stand out for many of us. And In her first wording we see Billie once again laying a type of blame on Hailey by saying ".. She went and disappeared." worded as such makes it appear that Hailey chose to do this(disappear) and thus throwing a monkey wrench into Billie and Shawn's "AWESOME" 6 month streak that they were on.

Some may say that it is just nit picking apart everything that BJD SAYS and that just isn't true(atleast for me personally that's not the case). But when we see similar statements much like this one continually coming from Billie one starts to see what her mind truly thinks and feels and thus makes it's way out of her mouth before she even realizes it and then of course thats when we see Billie re-phrase and re -word her thought to where it does not come across as an underlying feeling of resentment and blame towards the victim who is her only daughter.

I hope I explained that clearly enough that it's better understood what many of us mean when pointing out something such as this statement snipped above.

If my kid is missing, and perhaps never to be seen again, I am not going to point out how bratty she was sometimes, or that she was loud or nosy or had attitude problems.
It seems like Billie could not give a completely loving and positive description of Hailey. There had to be something negative thrown in the mix. That seems really odd to me.

I have followed this case since the first entry into websleuths. This is the first video we see of BD and Clint before the camera.

Notice BD says, using the past tense..."She wasnt the type of child to run away"

I hope this post fits in this thread. I have been looking for this video for awhile and this is what made me fall off the fence. BD has never responded like the mother of a missing child in my opinion.

Shawn describes his affection for Hailey with more sincerity, imo. Downright creepy and inappropriate (and dangerous), but more honest. She scared him with practical jokes; he likes scary stuff. She farted on him; he likes humiliating bodily activities (evidenced by the bestiality ).

Put Billie and Shawn's twisted mindsets together and you've got a missing Hailey. Billie who resents the challenge of a confident Hailey who is possibly unwilling to accept all of her mom's carp, like everyone else does. Shawn, who is a dangerous and creepy perv who likely openly admires the object of his girlfriend's resentment. Day after day in the same house. Drug after drug. Fight after fight. I think Billie somehow caused Hailey's demise and Shawn helped hide the crime (and probably enjoyed it)...

You brought up some good points. But if the fight was about the memory stick...wouldn't they have destroyed it/removed it from the home immediately after Hailey "disappeared"? Not just put it in a drawer..KWIM?

IMO, BD would find Hailey at fault for drawing any of SA's attention to herself.

lynnb, I agree with Mandy. I think BD would blame her nosy, loud & boisterous, hormonal, attitudinal daughter. I think she would blame Hailey for trying to get his attention and minimize Shawn's actions.

I think there was more than one. I think they got rid of the others, but accidentally overlooked this one. imo

JMO but she didn't give a full report until later when an officer came to her house, and SA was home by that time.


It was adressed a few times the other night when she did her interview.

Billie Dunn: He didn’t let me know until, I guess, I was already talking with police, after he got home. I had to ask him what she was wearing. He said, “Some blue running pants, and a light blue colored shirt.” He didn’t know what sweater, what shoes, or anything.
