I also no longer say "fixin to"....after many, many years of practice....So please don't think it's an all Texan dialect, saying, habit, whatever...it's just an individual preference and/or what someone has grown accustomed to saying...regardless of the state in which they reside.

While this has nothing to do with HD, I'll admit... I just hate to be portrayed as a cowboy (or girl - lol) hat wearing, broken english speaking, girl from Texas who rides horses, lives on a ranch, works for an oil company (ok---so I do) who's son plays football (he did) while his sister is a cheerleader...(although some of these characteristics do fit-LOL) :innocent:

Maybe because I am a Texas transplant from Oklahoma...but having lived in Texas longer than Oklahoma, I consider myself a Texan.

Hope you didn't think my "fixin to" post was a jab at Texans. I love my friend and find her use regional slang endearing. My Mom is from Missouri. She says (bar-ee) for borrow, lol. Anyway, I'll leave it alone : )

You know what? I'm from Tennessee and I gon't think anyone should ever apologize for their dialect or their accent. I had lots of transplanted northern college professors who used to lecture us about how we needed to lose our "Southern-ese" or we would never amount to anything. How ridiculous! That idea might work on teenage college students, but as an adult I'm offended by it.

Every area of the country has local speech patterns, north/south/east/west, and using those patterns and accents doesn't equal less intelligence or less education. Some of the most brilliant writers/minds/politicians we've ever had were basically country people who never apologized for their backgrounds.

In this case, if BD and SA sound rather stupid it isn't due to their accents or their colloquial speech. Stupid is stupid in any language. :crazy: If a story has holes in it, someone can sound like a great orator and still be a liar.

ETA: And anyone who would judge "all Texans" on these folks is jumping to conclusions, although there are certainly actual cowgirls in Texas and rednecks too, as there are in any state of the union.

SA has been stuck in the house for 2 months. What does he do all day? I would not be surprised at all if he is reading these forums and facebook, and even knew what kind of questions were going to be asked, and had an answer for them. BD has talked repeatedly to the media, it's all over the internet. What stopped him from 'reading' it. How many of us can answer the same questions he answered tonight? almost word for word from what BD has stated publicly? I know I probably could. There were too many times during that interview that you could almost 'see' that smug look on his face. JMO

What stopped him from "reading it" was both his and his mother's computers sitting in evidence lockers.

This actually sounds like a true statement, maybe the only one out of his mouth so far. He knew his ship was sunk when LE took that laptop, he fessed up to Mama and that's why she marched down to pick it up. LE immediately drew up a warrant and declared it evidence.

When Mama couldn't get it back, SA told BD "oh carp, whadda we gonna do now"? BD is a liar, has been since day one. You absolutely cannot believe anything that comes out of any of these people's mouth :banghead:

I hope she goes back on BTH to rebutt SA's interview tonight. Heck at this rate, the DA could present the whole case to a jury just by re-playing the media interviews of SA and BD.

The computer was a Dell Inspiron 530, which is a desktop, not a laptop.

I think BD has found internet access or has friends printing off pages of what is being said on websleuths and other sites. She used to have a friend coming on here and answering questions so she is well aware of this site.

I am quite sure after all of her and SA's discussions he is well aware of this site and others.

I still believe the two of them are in it together.

If anyone has anyone under their thumb it would be BD having SA under her thumb. She is the one with the house, the car, and the money when he was unemployed. He might as well have been just another child living in the house, rent free, and eating the food.

I am also quite sure BD threw a fit when she found out that there were pictures of other women on the memory stick and that is what pizzed her off.

She is 6 years older than him, has 2 kids, is still married, and he is younger, single, no kids, and lives off of whatever female. I think she controlled everything.

Nope, not me. I think BD is only guilty of trusting the wrong man and blind devotion.

BTW, Shawn's phone battery obviously wasn't dead because he was using the phone right after he hung up. LOL

I've got to listen to the show again, but there is something strange Shawn said about hiring the attorney. It's the timing. A simple answer would be "Once I was named a suspect I hired an attorney." No one could blame a person for that, but I think he said he hired an attorney prior to having been named a suspect. Now that's really strange. I'm going to listen again.

After listening to the interview SA gave last night I am even more convinced that SA is not the main orchestrator of Hailey going missing. SA seems to be following the script that someone else is putting in front of him.
Like others here I think BD was more freaked out by the cheating and that is what made her show anger and emotion. SA was attempting to prove his "love and loyalty" to BD by doing the interview.
Where is Hailey? I hope LE is all over these folks.

Something else came out of this interview. Shawn said that when DD got his new X-box at Christmas, he gave his old one to Shawn. But that he (Shawn) is not much of a gamer and only used it a few times.

So there is an x-box out there somewhere. He also said DD took his to his uncles when he moved there. I thought DD's was taken into evidence under warrant and replaced with one from the FBI? I believe we heard this from BD's friend.

Do we know that in fact DD's x-box was replaced by the FBI? Because I'm not so sure anymore. This is the first time I have heard that Shawn took DD's old x-box.

Kind of. He said Billie was just ' in 2 or 3 of his videos,' yet Billie keeps saying she doesn't know much bout his videos, " only what she saw on NG."

And he said he saw Billie today when he went by her house, [ And she just said they were not seeing each other anymore.]

AND he said she was unfaithful ' a few times' but he forgave her. So he threw her toes under the bus a couple of times, imo/

ETA; Oh and the prescribed meds. I know I don't have any prescriptions, BUT BILLIE DOES.

Billie admitted to being in some home videos. I think that is what he means in that part of the conversation. I could be wrong.

The impression I get, is that the "interveiw " with police scared the crap out of him and he got the lawyer because of that. He also left Billie's that night and she had asked him to do that. I really cannot say if that leads me to think he is guilty of anything because I could see an innocent person being scared over the seriousness of the issue. He hired the lawyer after he failed the poly. It isnt like it would take a large leap to assume he would be questioned again. So the lawyer was kinda a HA!talk to my lawyer thing at first and now he needs one.IMO

This post was not to defend SA. I am trying to be objective. I do think SA is properly labeled as a suspect. I dont know if he killed Hailey but he should be having to deal with what is going on now with LE and Billie does need to stay away from him because he has a gift of BS and the goal of Screwing with peoples heads. IMO.

What is crazy to me is that people think Billie is behind him ruling his comments and that she helped him cover up. etc.
I have no doubt he could be the most wonderful guy in the world for weeks on end until he decided that play was over and a new one started then over and over again.

He is a predator and he is used to dealing with older woman (his target audience )and very good at talking to and with them. He also likes to act and pretend and control his scences. I Dont think for a second SA is stupid or caught up in Billie's spell.

Billie is just a prop for SA. Her home is a stage for him. From the minute he enters it until the minute he leaves it. The only time he is off stage, is when he is at Grandma's IMO.

isn't grandmas house the one in Big Spring? I have lived in Big Spring all my life and am trying to think of a "creek" around here. All I can come up with is what is a runoff/drainage system. We haven't had any type of rainfall since Aug or Sept. So water is not just sitting around here. Even the lakes are trying to dry up.

And there are only 2 cemetaries. I live less than 1/4 of a mile from one.

after listening to the interview I have not changed my mind. I still do not think Billie had anything or knows anything about Hailey missing. I do blame her for not putting Hailey and DD first and letting this man in her life. It seems that a lot of women are like that in this day and times. (my niece included) They need a man, think they are in love, move him in their house with children.

I do not think he was molesting Hailey. From all that has been said about Hailey, I feel that she would have told someone. Something happened between her and SA that day or the night before, I believe he is the one responsible for Hailey being gone.

Not sure if he will go to prison on the . If the computer was used by many LE would have to be able to prove exactly who was responsible for the Child . If it turns out that the memory card only had other they would not be able to use that. I really hope they can narrow it down and put the person responsible for child away for a long time,

He must be addicted to . Talk to a woman 3 days and do a video of them having sex (if I understood correctly) Getting pictures of a naked woman the day Hailey went missing.

Finally a lot of things CZ posted about BD and the situation in general seem to not be true(thinking X box and some other stuff)...I'm not blaming CZ... i'm thinking she was just posting to us what she was fed from BD. I feel bad for CZ and I hope she's holding up!!!

I believe it is just the 1 computer in evidence, his mothers. I don't think he had a computer himself. But I believe he is staying at his grandma's, wonder if she has a computer? It's possible that his mother has bought another computer too since then.

I just noticed that SA's myspace account is closed, anyone know when that happened? I know I have seen it before, but not sure when that was.
