You said it! She's 24 and he's 27 (I think)....if you're old enough to get married and bring a child in this world, you're old enough to shape up and face the consequences!!! She's lucky she has all the help she does, what with her mother and the nanny. There are people who have it far worse who are trying much harder to do a better job. Like Jeana said, she KNEW what kind of guy he is. Now she has to live with the consequences, whether they stay together or not.

Yeah, and I'd bet my last buck she knew he smokes pot and didn't care a bit until she got furious with him for God-knows-what. But it sounds good, so she says it's because he's a pothead! The kids are always the ones who suffer in these situations.

My take is she was concerned with public image and the paparazzi when she booted out Kev at the mansion...why do you think the big public scene? Partying with pals in Las Vegas during the week of Britney’s 24th birthday, Kevin told a reporter that he has already consulted his lawyers and would demand a “$125 million” settlement if the marriage was to end.

“I don’t like lawyers,” the aspiring rapper said as he was leaving the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on December 3.

“But in this situation, I have to get protection." Kevin’s even told friends that he’s been advised that the prenuptial agreement he signed is “not worth the paper it is written on.”

WOW!!! I didn't know that was the going rate for sperm donors. If that's the case, I think I'll send my husband down to the nearest sperm bank. He's way better looking than KFed and has a work ethic, and plenty more endearing qualities that Kfed lacks.

It's so obvious isn't it? Not that I ever thought otherwise, but he's shown that he's all about money. Instead of saying along the lines of "I need to straighten my azz up, my wife and baby matter too much to me" he's instead plotting to take more of HER money. Let's face it, Britney hasn't worked too much since they've been married, so there's not much money that was earned while they were married. He's going after money she made before they were married. Does Britney even have $125 million? He expects to maintain the lifestyle at which he has been accustomed, what about Britney? Is she just supposed to fork over every dime she's ever worked for? I'm sure she'd like to maintain a lifestyle too. What about their baby, does he not deserve to grow up with a secure future.

What a b@stard! At least Britney CAN make more money. I'm not a fan of hers but if she puts her mind to it, maybe she can make it again.

I don't know about that. Her last album flopped as well as her movie. The longer she stays away the harder it's going to be for her to come back. She was HUGE with the young girls. I don't think that's the case anymore. They now have Lindsey Lohan and Hillary Duff. It will be interesting to see what she does. I had read somewhere that she was hoping Kevin's rap career would take off so she didn't have to go back to work. Well, that ain't gonna happen so I hope she has a back-up plan.

I think it had a lot to do with how people saw her, everyone kept comparing her to the girl she was when she got started in her career. She wanted nothing more than to shake that image, and she has definately done that since hooking up with Kevin.

I agree. My daughter told me a couple (maybe a few) years ago she thought Britney Spears was disgusting. She used to love her- when she had a more "innocent" persona. I think Britney went way off track when she open mouth kissed Madonna at the Video Music Awards show. (I was pissed about that-they knew they had young fans watching:loser: )
She doesn't like Lindsey Lohan either, and is starting to get disappointed in Hillary Duff (I think it's the new look and new boyfriend). That said, I think Hillary's a nice girl.

Hillary is a doll. My daughter won a contest that my neighbor had entered her name in. The contest was for a limo to pick her and 5 freinds up for lunch with Hillary. This was about 6-7 years ago when the movie Casper had come out. Not only did Hillary have lunch with them, she rode in the limo to pick the girls up. They had a GREAT time!! My daughter still has all the signed stuff Hillary gave her.

I LOVE Good Charlotte and think her boyfriend is a cutie. They seem very well matched.

That is soooo cool! Hillary has always been very sweet to her fans. We trick or treated in her neighborhood this year and the word on the street (literally-lol) was that she handed candy out till 7:00. By the time we were there, there was nothing but big burly guys outside the wall around her house, but my d was just happy being there! It was cute.:innocent:

Yeah, it really was. We have pictures somwhere of the limo pulling up and her getting out in our driveway, etc. She and my daughter are about the same age so they had a really good time. This took place when they still lived in Houston.
