Natural beauty, singing and dancing does not make a person of character or role model.

Contrast Britney to Faith Hill - natural beauty, dresses appropriately, marries a great guy, put family first, rushed out to the front lines of the Katrina Disaster. Doesn't flaunt material things.
I have no problem with Faith Hill, shes seems like a great person. How she dresses is her business. She's no dancer. Dancers will usually dress different. Does that mean any one who didn't run to the front lines of Katrina is not a good person? Thats a big list. Don't get your point. I really don't know what Faith Hill may flaunt or not. How do you know? What does it have to do with Birtney. Better watch out who you place on pedestals. It's not good for them or you. She might just fall of someday.

Marries a great guy? What does that have to do with being a good person. Was Princess Diana a good person? She married a inbred nutcase. Are you saying the you can't be a good women if you don't marry a "great" guy?

You've come a long way baby.

LOL.....like I said. Not smart enough to even figure it out! Yeah....whatever!
I figured out women long ago.

Im smart enough to know when your wife asks you "What do you think of Britney Spears?" she's really asking "What do you think I think of Britney Spears?"

Men spend a lot of time telling women what we know they want to hear. Does not mean it's what we think.

Like Patton said to Rommell

I read your book...............baby!!!

Britney CAN be pretty. She's not a natural beauty. Catherine Zeta Jones is a natural beauty. Britney with some make up and nice clothes CAN at least look good. Many women, even with the best hair and make up people can't look that good, and there's nothing whatever wrong with using what we can in order to be attractive.

I think in my 20s, I was concerned with what my husband thought about how other women look, but its not something I spend my time being concerned about these days. There are many beautiful women in Dallas. If I was so insecure that my husband saw beautiful women out and about, I'd have little time for much else. The best I can do is take what nature gave me and make the most of it using those same tricks and tips that models and actresses use. I don't fool myself that I'm in the same league as they are, but I don't loose sleep over it either.

:D :D :D

Lets see she's a natural beauty even when not made up unlike so many other hollywood women.

She can sing and dance as well as anyone on the planet.
(well dance anyway)

She has millions of dollars she has earned on her own and can afford to date and marry any one she wishes.

Why are you guys persecuting Britney?
Why is looking great a crime?
Is she the first girl who ever fell in love and married the wrong guy?
At least she can afford to.

This makes her trash? Because her hubby is a jerk. Any other time you all would be calling the girl a victim.

Sorry, smacks of jealousy to me.

Sorry Zman, but I doubt anyone here is jealous of Britney.

A natural beauty??? You have got to be joking!! The only time Britney looks good in in her video clips!! Anyone can be made to look great in one of those things. In real life, she is anything but a natural beauty. She is always unkept with acne all over her face.

Talented?? mildy.....she moves well and that's about it.
A great singing voice...well, that really is debatable, she is an average singer at best.
I always thought she was trash before all her problems with hubby from hell. Money can't buy class and Britney proves it.

Look beauty is a very personal thing, we all can see it a different way. But paaaaaalease!! CZJ? Britney Spears could wake up at 3am hungover with the flu, throw on a t-shirt and still look better than 99.9% of all other women after 2 hours at the beauty saloon. Is it the most important thing in life? No. But it does make some women nuts.

Sorry, but Faith Hill exemplifies an entertainer who is a good role model for young adults for the reasons that I listed. Obviously you must not have a teen-age daughter, but if you did I doubt you would want her looking up to Britney. I agree she is pretty, but I can't think of too much that she has done that I would admire.

Would you want your daughter to admire getting married in a drunken "spur of the moment" and get it annulled a few days later? Oh, my, what maturity Britney had.

And would you want your daughter to watch a video of their marriage, and hear Britney say,"Oh, I had sex three times today!"

Each to his own.

Faith does seem beautiful inside and out. She shows it in how she carries herself and her actions. IMO, Britney has not shown anything near that. She needs an attitude adjustment and an inside and out makeover!

Problem is you don't get to pick your kids role model so the best thing to do is teach them to be themselves.

Whats wrong with having sex three times in one day?

The only thing I can say is if Brittany is a role model than dunk your kids in chlorx or something. No hope with her. She is the antithesis of what kids should be.

All very pretty ladies but Brits better lookin than all of them, no matter what else you think of her. I don't know about all of them girls but most of them don't have no free pass to heaven either.

You missed 3 of my favs narla......Kelly Rippa, Elizabeth Hasselback and Rachel Ray.

hehe. Nothing. The problem, quite obviously is making a video about it and announcing it for all the world to hear.

I think she's a beautiful girl. I like her, she seems like a very nice person. Not the brightest bulb in the box, but that's no crime. I say ...leave her be

I think what she meant was, Faith Hill was smart enough to recognize a great guy and hold on to him, and quality enough of a person to be interesting to him. Don't mean to put words in anyone's mouth though...

I agree! In my opinion, people are being pretty merciless where Britney's looks are concerned! I thought we, as women, were fighting the perception that a woman's worth is measured by her beauty....if that's not the case, then LOOK OUT! :) In my opinion, things could get ugly if we choose to go down that road- no pun intended. Beauty/looks are fleeting.

No matter WHAT some here say, she's still better than most:
