Bryce was last seen in Castaic, California on August 30, 2013. He reportedly stopped while driving to his family home in Laguna Niguel in southern California from Sierra College near Sacramento, where he was a student, because he said he was too tired to drive. His SUV was later found crashed but abandoned, with Bryce's wallet and phone still inside. An extensive search of the area failed to find him. A burned body was found in a lake, but tests showed it actually belonged to another person. Bryce is still missing and the investigation continues.
