Burlington, Vermont - May 17, 2006

Lawyers who normally argue court cases for alleged criminals-- were victimized themselves by burglars Tuesday night. Two windows were smashed at the Chittenden County Public Defenders Office in Burlington. Thieves then stole a laptop sitting on a desk near one of the windows. Police say it's likely the burglars never entered the building.
