I was just channel-surfing when I saw and heard someone who looked familiar to me on Dr. Oz. I stopped (usually don't watch his show) and realized it's LT's sister. The show is taking them to the jail to meet with DT (apparently LT "begged" them to visit him).

Not sure if this is an old episode and has already been discussed.

One of the disgusting anecdotes shared: apparently when LT's sister and cousin were visiting with her, they mentioned having eaten at a restaurant (TGI Fridays I think) which is LT's favourite. LT started telling them about her favourite dishes there, and was very upset that she couldn't enjoy them anymore.

I wonder if the cousin and the sister told Louise and David that basically they were visiting on behalf of a TV show - and for money?
And they would share everything they would say with the whole, wide world.....

That sister and cousin are a couple of tools, not sure I can take any more of them.

I guess I’ve forgotten the explanation, perhaps because it didn’t click for me. The arm just doesn’t look like it belongs to anyone IMO. I have no idea why it would be photoshopped, but it looks photoshopped. Not saying it is, but nothing they did makes sense to me anyway, so if it is photoshopped it wouldn’t shock me. At this point the oddly placed arm is the least of the issues IMO and just a curiosity.

Being mindful of the rules here, I just wanted to share that someone captured the singing videos before they were removed (search "The Barbarians David and Louise Turpin Update" on YouTube; if you followed the McStay case, you may recognize the name of the uploader).

I saw them, and although she does not sing very well, the songs, her intense performance and the lyrics leave a big impact.

I would love to hear some of her songs performed by a performer who sings them well.
One of the songs reminded me of Nick Cave, and I think he would do a stellar job with it.

Don't dwell on how well she may or may not sing. Remember, she's had no chance at all of getting any music or vocal training or voice lessons.

Why is Louise taking the brunt of people´s disgust?
We don´t know how things went down in that home yet.
I see it everywhere and it depresses me that it ALWAYS is the women that are harsher judged than men.

It puzzles me. David was there too!

I don’t think I blame one more than the other. But based on their reactions after they were caught, it appears that DT realizes that they are (justifiably) in deep trouble while LT not. This raises the question of whether she is faking or truly clueless. If she has no idea that you are not supposed to beat, throttle, tie up and starve your kids and/or if she believes that her actions were justified, she is obviously insane. However, does that mean she isn’t responsible?

They are both, in my opinion, guilty, and the thinking (or whatever you want to call it) that went into DT’s participation in these atrocities is just as puzzling and disturbing as whatever went on in LT's head. But we have more information about LT, in part because her siblings and cousins have jumped on the publicity wagon while DT’s have been as quiet as possible. (As far as I know, DT’s parents have said nothing since their initial shocked denials, and Randy, the brother, has only spoken to indicate a willingness/desire to take care of the children. We may feel that he is definitely not the right person, but the point is he said it once and then retreated into privacy. He is not giving interviews about DT’s childhood or how the family blames LT, etc.)

Anyway, I think the reason we talk more about LT is that she and her siblings have given us more to talk about.

Denied? I would think so. LT was barred any contact with the kids, even through a third party. So for her sister to go from visiting her to visiting the kids is problematic, at best. I don't know if the kids would want to see their aunt, but there can't be much of a bond there since they have had virtually no direct contact, ever. At any rate, what they need right now is space - as in space between them and the families of those that victimized them. IMOHO, of course.

That is almost like stalking the siblings.
The cousin, the sister AND Dr. Oz knew very well they would not get access.
