But its like the Bible states also that The Lord shall return. But we don't all go round chopping people's heads off that don't believe.
I've read certain scripts in the Qur'an. The one that's referenced to. But it beggars belief that as Islam denotes. The taking of a life. Is abhorrent to Allah. Which is why a living animal who has been reared specifically for a Muslim family to use as food/etc. Has to be given a righteous passage into paradise. By the blessing of an imam. Hence Halal meat. The animal is then taken away with utmost respect and reverence.

So ISIS fundamentals are totally wrong. They've established the Caliphate by Their rulings. Of Sharia Law. A very stark strict subservient law. Which they have twisted into a barbaric primitive manner.

Even a devout Islam would never condone the ways of ISIS.
They are pumped full of drugs to do the atrocities they do.
And FEAR is their game.

Steelman, You're funny.

I have a feeling, tho, that some of the humor on here will be deleted. We need a good laugh when things are bad.

Actually most of the time they have been cool -- we all got to remember they are reading all this stuff too - they probably dont mind a chuckle here or there wither !

Silly Billy posts were a lot like Steelmans laugh out loud stuff !

When Fox showed pic tonight of the mother of the year (my words), Greta Van S said..that is the ugly face of a terrorist or (terror). Well..my opinion only...she must have (..errr..had) a great personality, aspirations and nuturing attributes, wouldn't you say.

In light of her Red Mosque connections I really believe she radicalized him. But he had to be ripe for it as well. What makes a successful, American born, supposedly decent person take on third world ideology and destroy his and his own child's future? Because I understand (almost) foreign terrorists. They hate what they don't understand. They hate what they don't have. This guy, this guy was raised here. Not wanting for food, shelter or education
We need to get to this root of how she persuaded him, to learn to fight this.

My father in law was Egyptian. He was very very bright. Lived a very full life and interesting life.
He always said that the root of the problem with terrorism in the US and worlwide is that the West really does not comprehend the Middle Eatern mentality.
I think he was on to something...

we all want one more ....need a hearty chuckle its funny stuff

how long you guys married ?

We aren't married.....we've been shacking up for 10 years (+-). We both were married to different people years ago......but who has the energy to do it twice ?

That's why I can call her my old lady and get away with it. According to her, that's a badge of honor compared to what her ex used to call her.

IMO This is a very important question.

Tbh idk. But I think questions should be raised.
It could of been an over sight by a very busy employee.

Illegally gained... (paid a staff member/sympathiser off to pass it thru)

Something sure smells fishy imo.

I was listening to NPR news station the other morning and he was 1st generation American of immigrant parents (does that make sense?). They said these children sometimes have a difficult time really fitting in and feeling like they truly belong. I suppose because parents aren't completely Americanised, etc. I'll see if I can find a link or article.

i think we deal witth issues issues here. But I think most of us have had the wind knocked out of us by two totally moronic events that add to a already confusing event .

It has been agiating knowing (the apt) that these folks are supposed to be knowing more than us and we are watching live a presser in a crime scene.

Then the lawyer ..............

Anyone think Grandma was in on it and was supposed to be the head of Plan B - until the couple were killed?

It seems like the one common thread holding all true crime cases and mass murders together is when at least one person doesn't treat another person as a sentient living human being. This is why no matter how angry these mass murders make me, I try my absolute best to try to never view the killers as less than human. It can be a struggle, but I don't want to ever have the same mindset that leads to things like this.

Amen.

I've heard this too. Especially if the parents came from a culture vastly different from where they end up. They're caught in the middle.

Idkr. My head is spinning and it's not just my meds.
I'd stick my neck out n say I'm sure Grandma knew more than she's letting on.
That's why I said earlier that I hope she's being interrogated.

and he wanted a wife from Pak? Why not American Muslim woman? She had a finacee' visa and not spouse visa? Got married over there? his family not there? did he know her or just run over and marry her ..........

my sense is it was like picking up a rent a car in a different city!

the lawyer almost messed up when asked if he like dated her while over there he stopped himself and said yes

I totally get this, its very common in Asian cultures. They straddle both worlds. But there is a component to THIS particular religion that leaves itself open to such extreme interpretations that are pretty unique. I can't think of the last time a Hindu or Buddist committed mass murder for religious reasons on American soil. Not saying it hasn't happened, but its not a "thing" you know?
