Buhach & Oakdale- location Amandeep's truck was found on fire. Cell phones are found fifty plus miles away near Dos Palos.
Noting the outskirts of Dos Palos are not far from Chowchilla. He lived there and was likely familiar with the outlying areas.

It would helpful to know if the two phones belonged to the men or if one was Jasleen's. I hate to type this out, but I fear Jasleen and Aroohi will not be found with Jasdeep & Amandeep. I won't spell out my reasons why.

I used Amerigas' address to note the trucking business location.
I was having difficulty hearing the Sheriff's remarks tonight, but toward the end it sounded like he said that the 4 bodies were found close together and that he wouldn't say more, as they were still processing the crime scene. There wasn't a sense that Jasleen and the baby were in a different location. But we will know more in the days ahead..

Heavy law enforcement presence at Merced County orchard

The Merced County Sheriff's Office shut down roads in a rural part of Merced County Wednesday around 6:15 p.m.

The crime scene investigation unit, Sheriff Vern Warnke and multiple deputies were on scene near Indiana Rd. & Hutchinson Rd.

[...]

According to the sheriff's office, one of the kidnapping victims' cellphones was found by a farmer near Henry Miller Rd. & Elgin Rd. on Tuesday.

That's only 4.6 miles from the Indiana Rd. & Hutchinson Rd. scene.

Officials with the Merced County Sheriff's Office say Sheriff Vern Warnke is expected to make a statement sometime Wednesday evening.
Updating map with location where phone was found and where orchard search is occurring.

In the press conference this morning, I believe the sheriff said it was not a big amount that was taken from the atm.
Even worse then. 4 lives for a pitiful amount of money. Not that it makes a difference even if it was a large amount. Nasty, evil man. :(

The worst of the worst. Devastating.

I think we all knew this was coming---but it's still a hard punch to the gut. Hard working young family and and innocent sweet baby, victims of senseless violence. So tragic...:(

So Saldago terrorizes 4 people,( including a 8 month old beautiful baby), sets their truck on fire, murders them, confesses to his family he had "SOMETHING" to do with it, FAILS at taking his own life, ALL FOR A ATM CARD? I'm sick!!!!

The Merced County Sheriff’s Office says they received a call from a farmer around 5 p.m. telling them the location of the victims after finding them.

Details on how the victims died have not been released.

According to Merced County Sheriff Vern Warnke, the suspect 48-year-old Jesus Manuel Salgado has been talking with officials.

The bodies were found near the area where deputies found the victim’s phones.

Bizarre. What would be the motive to come back after he had the men? Presumably if he had wanted the bank card and PIN he had it by then. The woman could have called the police by then, escaped, someone else might have shown up etc...
Also, if the suspect was aware of cameras then he knows he can be identified so why come back for the mother and the baby for merely the reason to have no witness? He wanted to do harm to them all otherwise it doesn’t make sense to come back after having what he needed for financial gain and the camera is a witness so…he’s just evil.

Who could shoot a beautiful baby? I have no words to describe the degree of evil.

I think they're out there searching, and we just haven't heard about it. From the presser today, we learned that they threw everything at this right away, from assigning every detective they had, to bringing in other local, state, and federal agencies.

But we usually hear about it, especially in big cases like this. Reporters are typically pretty dogged at locating and relaying search areas and LE activity. Twitter is usually abound with photos of sites, etc. Yet none of that thus far. Not saying it is indicative of anything, necessarily, just highly unusual.

JMO.

EDIT: Just saw news. So so sad. RIP. :(

It's weird because he leaves her to finish getting in the truck and she closes the door herself as he is walking to the driver's side. At least that's what I think I'm seeing. Starts at about 6 minutes here

People will do crazy things when their life or the life of their child is threatened.

Wondering if he had any help ?

Was Jasdeep going inside to bring some recyclables out to him? His kindness cost them their lives ... I only want this man to live long enough to tell where the family is located. He can suffer greatly after that!
Did I miss something? Do we know the family is deceased? You said "His kindness cost them their lives". I'm behind and trying to catch up now.
