CA - 4 Family Members Kidnapped From Business, Merced County, Oct 2022 *arrest*

I am pretty sure it is a business run out of their home. If you look at the home address, it is about where the 800 block of 59 would be. I am surmising LE did not want to give out the home address.
None of the records for either names have an address on hwy 59. Both are residential, but not at that location.

I am trying to imagine a scenario in which this family would be found safe and sound---- :(

This seems to have been very well planned, and I think it's pretty clear it involves multiple people.
does anyone think that the "kidnapper" was just a hired person and whomever had a motive for this is wealthier/more powerful/less obvious? I am thinking of Dan Markel (with a separate thread in WS) - he was killed by hired gunmen.

JMO, someone should be able to recognize the perp.
In the one photo with bag in his hand, he's wearing those long shorts I've seen gang members wear. But he's wearing black tennis shoes.

What's in that white bag? Is that the evidence he removed from the scene?

On my phone so can't post the photo.

That's a glad force flex kitchen trash bag. Looks like it has bottles in it?

I hope the family is safe but I just have had a bad feeling about this from the start :(

Jasdeep had a dba for a company called JB Trucking. Just a single truck. Sorry if you all know this stuff already.
@Knox
Do you think the info in my post (#69) is incorrect? (I can ask that it be removed if so). It shows he has 9 trucks.

An abductor isn't likely to stop for diapers and Gerber snacks.

I don't like this.

Hopefully, the baby is breastfed.

I just read their business had only been open for 3 weeks, seems to short to be targeted from an ex employee or along those lines
Maybe the family once worked for the person(s) responsible for the kidnapping. Now the company is their rival.

Critical condition.

This just got way worse fast.

The fact that he tried to kill himself is very troubling. Where is the family!?!?

Thank you. I tried to enlarge that picture which I'm not very good at and I swear I see cans and pine cones. LOL. Maybe someone who can do this better could get a good shot. I also noticed the pic with the mask on those strings to his sweatshirt look all tangled up and yet they are neatly laying there when he is captured without the hood on. ( FYI, that would take me 45 minutes to fix and with some choice words).
Also, some are saying they could have been taken from the home but the pics show a marked parking lot with cement bolders. Do they live in an apartment/condo, it looks like a business to me. Any chance these pictures were not taken the day of the kidnapping? I can't recall if LE said so or not.
