The Bakersfield Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating Adrean Ayala, who has been reported missing and is considered at risk.

Officials say, Adrean Ayala, 36, was last seen around noon (Jan 4) near the intersection of 17th and Myrtle streets. He’s considered to be at-risk due to unspecified medical conditions.

He was previously missing in October 2018. At that time, he was said to have a mental health condition.

He likely has some serious mental health issues - one of his incarcerations is listed as a year at "Paton - Outpt". I believe this refers to The Department of State Hospitals-Patton which is a forensic psychiatric hospital located in Patton, CA (San Bernardino County). DSH-Patton provides treatment to forensically and civilly committed patients within a secure treatment area. His incarcerations after that time were in jail/prison so he likely had little mental health support there. What is concerning to me is his last charges are drug related, still open (at least no updates on hearings or convictions on file) and it appears he's out on bond so he could well be a risk to himself or others IMO.
