Does anyone also believe this could be Alan Soper?

John Doe, partial skeletal remains believed to be in the California desert for years. Only thing that seems off is height and age though I feel with the remains discovered height would be hard to decipher to begin with.

Personally, I'm going to say unlikely. UID remains were found in 1997. Post mortem interval shows to be between 1991-1997. Age estimate of remains is between 30-50 years old. Height is also estimated to be around 5'5".

Alan was went missing in 1974, was 22 years old and was estimated to be at a height of 5'11".

Granted, nothing is out of the realm of possibility and information from skeletal remains have sometimes been shown to be incorrect when finally identified.

I'm still going to say it's probably not Alan but it never hurts to submit it, even just to rule it out.
