"They showed us images of where Marshall lives. Images of the bathroom," Gwyn said.

He says the UV light showed blood on the bathroom door, the bathtub and the washing machine.

They were also shown video of Jones taking three garbage bags to his mother's house, where police also found traces of blood.

[...]

Despite the new information, the Gabe family isn't giving up. They are waiting for DNA analysis of the blood.

Police continue to search the town of Pioneer, which is about 90 miles east of Antioch, where they believe Jones dumped the garbage bags.

On Feb. 1 they obtained a search warrant of Jones' home and detected a small amount of Gabe's DNA on the inside lid of the washer. The shower curtain in his bathroom were also missing, police said.

The evidence also reveals Jones stayed with different family members during the time after Gabe's disappearance. One night Jones' sister kicked him out of her home. He was seen on video carrying an extended firearm magazine and likely had a gun on him while he was with his sister, they said.

And in another twist, police revealed the arrest of Jones' mother, Alicia Coleman Clark. She was allegedly arrested and released on May 19 for charges of aiding and abetting, according to police.

Anyone have access to the Contra Costa court site - to see if there is a hearing date coming up for Clark? At least we could have someone tried for this case - even if it is aiding & abetting.

TIA!

Reason is that no formal charges by the DA have been filed; if they were there would be a hearing

After gathering cell phone records, GPS data, surveillance video and interviews, Antioch Police sat down with Alexis' family last week to share a detailed timeline about her disappearance.

“It's giving us nightmares pretty much, we just couldn’t believe that something like, it just happened to our child,” said Gwyn Gabe, who met with police for that discussion.

[...]

The letter Alexis' parents received from police also said on February 1, investigators carried out a search warrant at Jones' home. They searched for the presence of blood on that day ... Investigators also seized Jones' car and noted that Alexis' DNA was found in the back of the vehicle, though the source of the DNA could not be determined.

The following day, February 2, police say Jones flew from California to Washington to stay with his father.

[...]

The Gabe's said their family will be discussing this week whether to hold a memorial for Alexis or to wait in hopes of finding some trace of their daughter.

The family said that searches will continue in Pioneer, California, 60 miles east of Sacramento.

... Alexis Gabe’s father launched an online petition asking Contra Costa County District Attorney Diana Becton to file charges against the ex-boyfriend’s mother for allegedly helping her son after Gabe was murdered inside his Antioch home.

[...]

... The petition, which collected 8,825 signatures in a matter of days, calls on District Attorney Diana Becton to file criminal charges against Jones’ mother, Alicia Coleman Clark.

[...]

... On January 28, Jones drove to his mother’s house, backed his Ford Explorer into the driveway, and unloaded “several large, heavy garbage bags” into either the backyard or garage, according to the timeline.

Jones and his mother then went to a Metro PCS store together and bought a new phone for Jones. Around 5 p.m. that same day, Jones re-loaded the garbage bags back into the Ford Explorer, all while his mother was hosting a karaoke party inside her house, according to the timeline.

[...]

District Attorney’s Office spokesman Ted Asregadoo told KRON4, “Alicia Clark was arrested on a Ramey warrant in May. A Ramey warrant is an investigative means to conduct a formal police interview. Following that investigative inquiry, Ms. Clark was released by the arresting agency – which was the Antioch Police Department.”

[...]

Her father, Gwyn Gabe, wrote on the petition, “The person who helped or assisted Marshall Jones and tried to cover up what he had done was his mother, Alicia Coleman Clark. She also knows where Marshall hid the body of Alexis Gabe but she is not cooperating. We ask CCC District Attorney Diana Becton to file charges against her and put her in jail. She’s an accessory to her son’s crime.”

I’m sorry but I’m confused where the suspects mom comes in. I’m pretty sure she would have canceled her karaoke party if she instead suddenly had to help her son cover up a murder.
I feel like I may be missing something?
She may have raised a terrible human but I’m not particularly seeing any info that LE should have kept her in custody instead of deciding to release her..
