Did they say no foul play or no evidence of foul play? I hate how nuanced it gets but those two statements imply different things.

that seems like something a country kid would do to avoid a DUI....

Live oak would have been on her way back to Gridley. It's a straight shot up 99. I wonder if she was trying to avoid the highway for some reason and drove over a levee?

Someone must have posted the map link elsewhere, the views have jumped from mid 80s this morning to 16,219 views, with 20+ views every time I refresh. (16,399 already since starting this post). Glad to see the extra exposure but also thoroughly confused. Maybe google maps is glitching?

ETA: 16,788 just a few minutes later. I hope these are real people familiarizing themselves with Alycia's disappearance.

so the ping came when the citizen turned it on?

No, they barely found the phone today. The cell phone last pinged on Sunday 4/2/17. Map says 4/3/17 which is the wrong date.

Police said Yeoman’s cell phone was found in the same general area as her truck. Detectives are currently investigating her phone for possible leads.

Tuesday morning, police and Sutter County sheriff’s canine deputies began a search of the Pennington Road area.

Currently, investigators say there is no evidence of foul play in Yeoman’s disappearance.

Canine search ongoing near where truck and cell phone were located.

Edit to my previous post, looks like someone found it Monday night, not today. Guess the police did not disclose that right away.

I step away for 24 hours and BOOM!

So glad they found her car & her phone.

Hoping they find her safe although it's not looking too good. :(

If you harmed someone, then realized later that their phone was still at your house, would you go in the middle of the night to where you got rid of the body to chuck the phone, then drive away quickly?

There are houses in that area? I wonder if they have street facing cameras...

I wish they'd release more information. It said the cell phone was found in the vicinity of the truck... but where? (Oh my, they posted the actual address of the house she was last seen... that can't be good) So, it actually pinged right at that person's house, at 11pm. Does anyone know where the cell towers are located in that area? Where she was last seen, and the ping are in the same place. But those are pretty far away from where her car and phone were found. The only information about the time of the phone ping is from her "friends" Anyone have LE statement on that? The cell phone being found after the ping, around her car is worrysome. Someone went back to the seen of the crime to toss her phone near her car?

Hopefully the canines get a goid scent and find her. Don't like how it's near the Feather River though.

TBH this sounds like foul play to me.

If the woman is missing but her truck and cellphone was found in the same area, then something must have happened to her.

i pray that's okay.

The ping was at least a few blocks away from her last seen location, but yes much closer to the last seen location than the truck and phone were found. And the ping was Sunday at 4AM. Her last sighting was Thursday at 11PM driving away from the approx. address given. This article says Sprint provided the cell phone info and LE searched that location (the field across from Walmart).
Cell phone carrier Sprint was able to track Yeoman's phone through GPS and found it in an empty field east of Oro Ranch Road in Yuba City on Sunday. Law officials are now searching the area.

I hope LE has more info, I'm sure they do. The footprints exiting the vehicle should be a huge clue. Is there any possibility her cell phone could have fallen out of the truck as it slid in the mud or maybe she dropped it walking back up the hill? It seems more likely to me it was tossed...which I don't feel good about.
