I don't know why the link to her gofundme is full of asterisks and won't link but it's easy to find.
:gaah:

I think 🤬🤬🤬 is a site that isn't allowed to be linked here.

Oops. Sorry I didn't realize it was off limits.

So the phone had to be off or it would have continued to ping over the weekend and possibly they had it for a few days and it was dead but then why were they holding onto attempting to locate the person if it was a dead phone they have no idea who that was

Well we know the grassy area was searched where her phone was found...near the residence where she was last seen

Her car was searched

And there was evidently PC for a search warrant for the residence where she was last seen. You dont get PC just because someone was last seen there...there needs to be compelling evidence in order to obtain a warrant...that says to me (in my opinion, or using logic) that there must have been some evidence found that gave police and and ultimately a judge, reason to believe it was necessary to search the residence. Whatever this is has obviously not been made public, but it obviously exists. If there was anything removed from the home (also not public) it probably is being tested to see if it is relevant, related, or can provide any further info.

Sprint could provide immediate info (incoming/outgoing calls and texts) and usage. But if anything had been wiped of the phone intentionally, the phone would have to be analyzed further (forensic) most likely and that would not be done through them...same goes for anyone else's electronic device if LE decided to analyze it.

They were able to get a search warrant based on the fact the homeowner was out of town and not available to give consent to search.

Her phone was not found in the grassy area near the house she was last seen at
...according to the Live Oak locals who found it. They said they found it by the truck in Live Oak..but yeah doesn't make any sense.

That is usually not enough for a search...if the home owner was home and LE asked to search the home, the home owner has the right to say "No." Unless there is PC...there is no grounds to search...

The top red dot is 1844 Romero, the bottom red dot is the field they searched (that I saw) the white outlined areas is where I would like to see searched, throughly before it's mowed.

Agreed times a million. I kind of can't believe that whole area hasn't been combed...hopefully they know more than we do and it's a logical decision. The cost-benefit analysis from what we know supports a full out search of this area IMO.

I found a phone once at the park, I waitied for someone to call it so I could tell them I found it, but no one did, and it died and was not a phone I had so no charger. I forgot about ti for a few days then turned it in.

If a girl and her phone were missing and the talk of the town, wouldn't you have responded differently and turned it in immediately?

of course. I live in a big city I probably wouldn't have heard right away... this is a smaller city however she wasn't reported missing right away. they turned it in Monday, right? maybe that's when they saw the news.

does anybody know who these ppl are that found the phone. I wish we could clarify if the ping at 430AM was the only was ping since 751 thurs.. thats what im assuming from what has been stated .... which means the phone was dead/off b4 her truck pulled into the levee and that means whoever found it never turned it on( or else it would of pinged).... Another thought maybe those who found it and had it for a few days carried it on them and hppn to be in yuba city and jst tried turning it on coincidentally near the residence causing the 430 am ping thinking nothing of it... SO confused..none of this fits quite as well as leaving the phone accidentally and noticing sun the phone still at ur residence and then tossing bk to where the truck is..

I don't know what it is but something in my gut tells me they should have or should be searching the entire grassy area across from Walmart for signs of her or other belongings.

They did, not sure how thorough but when the cell phone pinged thats the first place they looked maybe they missed something.

I wonder who all's fingerprints are on the phone? Were any of Aly's left on it, or had it been wiped clean and the only ones that would show are the locals who found it and picked it up... and maybe the Sprint people who they turned it in to?

(Info that we'll probably never be told, I suppose, until a trial or something)

It pinged early Sunday morning, not Monday, in Yuba City across from Walmart. The phone was turned in Monday but the Live Oak locals that found it, said they held onto it for a few days after finding it..supposedly by the truck..to see who it belonged to, before contacting police. They contacted police after the truck was located and police released information they were searching the field next to Walmart for her phone because of the ping early Sunday morning. They were told to take it to Sprint. They did.

I dont believe they held onto the phone, they didnt call about the truck for a couple of days but I believe the phone was turned in within hours. There also seems to be a mix up about when the phone pinged. There is one article stating it was Sunday morning and others stating Monday. The search took place on Monday.

Here is a quick timeline:

6 pm March 30th - dinner with friend in yuba city
7:50 pm March 30th - AY's last communication with family
10 pm March 30th - there is a statement on the fb page "find Alycia Yeoman" that her last communication was at 10 pm
11 pm March 30th (not proven only stated) - AY leaves friends house on Yuba City
Saturday April 1st - AY reported missing
4:30 am April 2nd or 3rd - Phone pings off tower in field across from Walmart
April 3rd - friends, family & LE search field find nothing
5 pm April 3rd - truck is reported abandoned in orchard having been there for several days, 5 pm April 3rd - surveillance shows someone drive and abandon her truck in the orchard
April 3rd evening - cell phone reported found

Sunday- afternoon April 2nd- 3:00pm
The search for the cell phone took place along harter parkway, a ping on her phone early that morning (Sunday morning 4:30am) led them to search there. The truck had not yet been found.

"Friends told Action News Now that police got a ping on Yeoman’s cellphone in a field across the street from a Walmart in Yuba City. Friends and family set out on Sunday looking for Yeoman.

Authorities note that GPS coordinates could be off by several hundred yards. Deputies with the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office also searched the area and continuing their efforts within their jurisdiction.

Gridley police are looking for Yeoman’s truck, described as a green Toyota Tacoma 2 door extended cab with a “Duck the Dodgers” sticker. The license plate number is 4FAR610."

"Yeoman's pickup truck was found unoccupied about 5 p.m. Monday, in the area of Pennington Road in Live Oak, according to police.

The vehicle was in an orchard, KTLA sister station KTXL in Sacramento reported.

That same day, a cellphone was also discovered by a citizen in the approximate area of the missing woman's truck. The individual tried to turn the phone on in an attempt to identify its owner, but the device only momentarily turned on before losing power, according to investigators."
